This is exactly what I fear this power crisis will generate in Ghana if we dont get a quicker solution to this menace, NATIONAL SECURITY AT RISK, when most of the populace risk losing their jobs and becomes unemployed,some may resort to violence and illegal means to acquire money to live with their various families ,it the whole nation is going to be in in a turmoil which the law enforcement cant handle.We pray it will will not reach that level,may God give wisdom to our leaders to solve this issue asap

Use your brains GH-Americans, forget an academic education and instead go for a FINANCIAL EDUCATION...you will make tons more income to help Ghana to help herself. GH politicians are clueless!
A person whom is a W-2 employee gets about 14 tax write-offs...so in reality about 50% of their income is taxed away. Now a person with a FINANCIAL EDUCATION knows how to get over 400 tax write-offs in the US. So they only give up about 7 cents of every dollar they make yearly in the US.
So of GH-Americans wised up they would have enough funds left to help Ghana too yearly.Even crating ways to employ locals in GH so one would not have to send funds to GH for years and decades in a charity type way.

Use Solar and wind power to generate power. Other countries are doing that. Why rely only on Volta River and oil for power generation?

All these excuses points to administrative inefficiencies, professional incompetence,non performance executives,Various past and present Gov't reluctance to release funding,lacks of serious nation planning in Commensurate with population growth,and sickening gov't priorities,or, maybe a sabotage to make the present admini unpopular.
In my opinion,if all past GEO's in those Sevices Sector had worked assiduously to introduce innovations without following Routines by their predecessors,there would be nothing like those lacks of planning excuses.The last but not the least,are the Senseless Military takeovers which grounded all things.
