Do you address affirmative action by reserving seats in parliament? Is Ben Ephson's idea of affirmative action the reservation of parliamentary slots or seats for women? Surely, there are numerous, numerous, numerous ways of addressing the issue of "affirmative action" particularly with respect to women participation in the democratic and governance process, and NPP being the party that it is cannot begin to suggest that, the reservation of seats in and of itself, inherently satisfies the principles of affirmative action or better still women participation in the democratic and governance process.
Even the NDC party which Ephson and the rest of the NDC apologists represent knows they don't even see that as affirmative action, how much more the NPP.
