Government and District assemblies should stand up to the tasks. They cannot only be collecting taxes and chop the money.

  Everybody in Accra is filthy. They take so much for granted about hygiene. People buy instinctively from these filthy unwashed street hawkers, and assume that they are doing the hawkers a favor. Seemingly decent looking people buy food right along the roadways along the filthiest gutters. I watch people entertain houseflies during meals. I don't even understand why we like to defy nature, then start to blame politicians.
  
  Until we enforce all the laws on the books, we deserve what we get. We don't need to build Cholera Isolation Centers, we need to control the population expansion of Accra so it can be managed as a civilized community. If we refuse to heed such advise, the only solution would be by natural elimination, and it is a sham that only a few hundred lives are lost. Black people only learn lessons the hard way. We only know how to create human disasters and diseases, then expect the white man to fix it, no sooner do we blame them for all our ill-manners.

The Greater Accra Manager is ineffective and seems not to know what he is doing as far as keeping Greater Accra sanitation on check. Secondly, the Manager is leaving large at the public expense for doing nothing since he was appointed to improve the sanitation of Greater Accra and also, has demonstrated that he is unfit to hold the office because of his incompetency and effectiveness. Under the circumstance, it would do the nation good if President Mahama take a firm action and relieve the Greater Accra Manager of his post for his incompetency and making Greater Accra the seat of the government)one of the worst unsanitary place in the country which has caused the outbreak of cholera in Accra and its surrounding areas.
