local investment is the way forward. We have to come up with the money. In the long run it would have a positive impact on our GDP.

One wonders what is wrong with us .As it happened in the telecom industry only foreigners own the market and a lot of money is just being syphoned off our country and not even one Ghanaian is in there. It isin the oil field and mines where we find ourselves at best doing galamsey. Pathetic. The energy or power area has been with us since the 80s and our people just look on lamenting like orphans without any Ghanaian venturing any investment. The foreign investors will come but they will carry the money away and we shall continue to be impoverished and poor picking up the crumbs that will drop from the tables of the foreign investors.

On this day June 6,2013President dead goat Mahama on news headline Partners Can't Short-Change Ghana. The first paragraph reads,Ghana president ,Mr John Mahama has said his country wil not allow itself to be short-change by foreign development partners in its quest to pursue economic development. This is why the president delibrated run our economy down so we can not develop and expirence no economic tatter with no power to run our industries and the president statement that he said Urbanisation of Africa could cripple growth has been deleted from the News archive is the reason why president Mahama administration has borrow $27 billion and nothing to show for,no power run our industries and charge our mobile battery so we can talk and also watch our TV's,no water run into our taps, look at all these lakes and big rivers and we have no good water to drink. Our hospitals has to buy water to perform their duties, what a shame. No classroom blocks pupils and our roads has been abandon be cause all the amenities make Urban. This is reason why Mahama government steal all our money so we stay undevelop to uncripple growth. So my question is why a rapid change?

Ghana for the past decades have established herself as a reliable supplier of power to neighbouring countries in the region. To maintain this status for socio-economic development to continue faster than the cureent pace policy makers need to reason in the long term - the next 50 to 100 years to come. how much gas have we got for thermal gas generation? We need to think of going nulear.
