WHEN DID OUR PARLIAMENT TURN TO THIS? When did it turn to a place where foolish people and people who don't seem to know where they are go? What is somebody like Amasa Namoale doing there? Do those who vote for this idiot think beyond what they will eat today. I BLAME PNDC AND THE PDC CONCEPT. This encouraged all kinds of fools and nobody's to get involve in government, and this is where we are today. VERY DISAPPOINTING. HE IS SAYING WAYOME SHOULD SUE FOR MORE MONEY. Besides saying the government has no case against Woyome what crime did Barton Oduro committed before they are calling for his prosecution, was he a signatory to the payment?
Apart from authorizing the payment what shows Betty Mould conspired with Woyome to defraud the country, does it mean the Judge who approved the payment also conspired to defraud the state?
As for the AG,it is right that she must resign, appeal or no appeal she must resign, she actually benefited from the payment either directly or indirectly and she has admitted benefiting from the payment admitting it was her client who got paid by Woyome and since the client paid her too she is a beneficiary of the said amount.
Anyway which company was created as a result of that payment and dissolve right after as claimed by AFAG?

Corney, do you mean to say Woyome had no money to pay Lithur Brew and Co until he was paid by the state? He is considered a businessman and as long as he pays his debts irregardless of where the money comes from, you cannot equate it as being the money he got from the Ghana Government? Woyome is wrong for writing such a letter unless he can show proof that he indicated on the payment made that the money came from the loot he got.

Mr Sappey Agbo,if you don't know let me tell you that when a lawyer works for a client and money is paid a percentage of that money goes to the lawyer.
Even if we take it that she did the work for free which cannot be true she still has interest in the case because she once defended a client against Woyome which brings the conflict of interest in the case.
It happens all over the world including in Ghana and I remember recently there was a case which a Judge recused himself because of conflict of interest.
It does not make any sense to say unless he indicated on the payment made that the money came from the loot he got.
Do you ever seen or heard anybody in this world in paying a debt or a fine will indicate the source of the money to the creditor, where did you hear that from, can you just give us just one example of any country that you know where such a foolish thing happens, you tell your creditor the source of the money you are paying him?
Unbelievable, the most ridiculous thing I ever heard in my life.

THE ACTUAL FIGURE IS 99.9%
Former President Jerry Rawlings claims 60 per cent of “thieves” in government now hold positions in the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The former president alleged that those people fought for party positions just to protect themselves from a possible prosecution for their evil deeds.
Mr. Rawlings who was reacting to the acquittal of business man Alfred Woyome stated that prosecution presented a poor case just to protect some people in government implicated in the case.
Citing the involvement of former Attorney General, Betty Mould-Iddrisu in the Woyomegate scandal as an example, Mr. Rawlings questioned why she was left off the hook.
"Woyome the thief is now a free man because some of our people who were involved in the thievery like Betty Mould and one other person were not produce in court for interrogation to provide vital information to jail him," he fumed.
“When 40% of the corrupt people have lost their positions to enable us clean the party, 60% have now come in to protect themselves and we also vote them. Are we so stupid” he quizzed.

What is Mahama waiting for? If it is true and Attorney-General Mrs. Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong did receive some benefit(money) of any kind for improperly authorizing the payment in the amount of Ghc51.2 million to Mr. Alfred Woyome, why does she still remain at her post and continue to draw her monthly paycheck at the expense of the public? or, Is it that, he Mahama, was a recipient of his share in the illegal and improper payment to Woyome and that is why he is finding it difficult to relieve Mrs. Appiah-Oppong of her Attorney-General post because he is afraid she might spew out the whole deal and name everyone implicated in it which might include (he) Mahama. It is sad and pathetic that the leadership of Ghana lacks honesty, integrity and the willingness to tell the truth to Ghanaians.

About three three weeks ago I said in one of my comments on this forum that, the Almighty God in his wisdom Creates 25 percent Sensible persons and majority 75 percent Fools around the world. That's the reason why you get people to Support any nonsensical put forward by someone who is equally as Foolish or Sensible.
Having said that, let do some post -mortem of Woyome's alleged "A G benefited Gh 1million from the 51million"controversial amount paid to Woyome by govt.
The AG claims she never worked for Woyome.
Mrs Appiah-Oppong before her elevation to the position of AG of Ghana, was a Staff or Practicing Partner ( attorney/lawyer) at a pivate legal Firm.
A Client to the Firm, or privately to Mrs Appiah - Oppong Sort legal Service to retrieve an amount owed him (client) incidentally by this man Woyome ,at a Service fee of Gh 1.4 million.
Mrs Appiah-Oppong won the case in Court against woyome to retrieve the total amount owed by Woyome to her Client on behalf of the Firm or on her own behalf. And was subsequently paid her agreed Service Fee of Gh 1.4 million accordingly.
Now,from where Woyome had the money to make payment is non of the equation,or has nothing to do with the person Woyome Owed or the lawyer who battled the Case in Court.
Later Mrs Appiah-Oppong was appointed by the President to the position of Attorney General of Ghana.
Now, be a Judge ; from my Simple analysis,Which Category of people do the AFAG pressure group belongs to.
