When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

It is not safe to base the projected budget on crude oil price of $50.00: crude is heading down to $20.00.
I base this projection on the over-supply of crude, -- due to the refusal of the major oil producing countries to cut production.
Even if they should reverse themselves, and decide to cut supply today; it would not change the downward drift of crude price to around $20.00. This is for the simple reason that, all the major consumers have run out of storage capacity to add more crude to their current stockpiles.
I therefore urge the finance minister to take the following precautionary steps to safeguard our economy.
1) Revise the basis of the budget- projection downwards.
2) Use the IMF bailout funds to construct crude storage facilities.
3) Lease the storage facilities to major crude buyers running out of storage capacity, -- i.e., generate revenues to close the gap left by the drop in oil revenues.
4) Cutback on crude sales.
5) Step up our crude stockpiles, -- i.e., hedge our bets if crude begins to rise again in the future.
This a more creative approach to handling the budget of the country.
It is sound, and conservative.
May Lord Almighty continue to bless our beloved Great Ghana:
Amen!!!

KNUST failed to rusticate and report to the police a female student who beat up her roommate; the lecturers have been bought. It has been said that many lecturers lack teaching methodologies. What should be the minimum requirement when recruiting lecturers into a tertiary institution? Is it a masters degree or a PhD with a course in education??
Professors in tertiary institutions must read GES directives. There are many important and useful GES directives which would help them.
GES banned all forms of corporal punishment in Educational institutions but there are reports that some tertiary institutions are still carrying out this practice. Asking students to kneel down and so on.
Lecturers in tertiary institutions must recognize the fact that students in these institution are adults.

There has never been and there will never be a perfect administration but it'd be useful to make the comparison between the 15 years of NDC administration and the 8 years of the NPP administration under Kuffuor's leadership. We will have a clearer and better understanding of which of the two has done the most harm to the national development with the resources at their disposal, including of course our debt situation and the nation's resources. Of course we don't need to be stuck on these 2 parties for leadership but should we also just dole out the privilege of administering the affairs of the state simply on the platter of the unknown devil? If any of the other parties can prove they are ready to govern and have better alternatives and solutions to the myriad national problems most Ghanaians will appreciate a complete overhaul in administration leadership but need we change just for the sake of change ? No to change except it's good purpose driven. We can no longer afford to take backward steps but to hit our stride with whichever party has the national outlook, a national development agenda with the right men and women to get the job done. We don't need a leader who will deepen and widen what divides us to fulfill an inward looking ambition but the uniter who sees and appreciates the beauty in our diversity. We do not need a leader who will put the party agenda ahead of the national. Certainly, we don't deserve a leader who will pick and choose which faces to put on the accountability label but one who has zero tolerance for corruption and does not care whose ox is gored in the mortal fight against corruption.

CHANGE
I am very happy to join with you today on this
social platform where the gates of expression
are freely opened for everybody to raise his or
her views. on this note, i would like to elaborate
on few why there is the need to change the
Ghanaian world. Not just any change but a vivid
change in government and the way we
cognitively represent certain issues in this our
nation.
we all bear witness that, despite all forms of
hands of different regimes our nation went
through, there emerged a government where
even the cobbler was called by several banks for
loan--this was under the regime of president
Kuffour. Indeed, as from the time 'the
somebody' took over, the nation's effort
towards economic sustainability has gradually
gotten down to not. The economy is now
chasing the people to run lest they die in
joblessness and hunger.
we live in a country where the sachet water
sellers are quitting because of 'dumsor' and the
colds stores have no reason for which to
replenish their fridges--all because of 'dumsor'.
But we have forgotten that our thumbs we cut
with 'I DON'T CARE' for the 'somebody' is what
has led to this our plight.
we live in a country where the unspeakable
horrors of corruption brutality have killed the
hope in leadership, all because of the
unprecedented corruption by the 'somebody
government' and its leaders. I call this
government 'the somebody' because its
behaviour is not deeply routed from the true
creed of the nation, and I quote " the blood and
toil of our fathers".
we live in a country where a thief from no
where can just deplete the coffers of the nation
by taking away GHc 51m free, and our pillars
(law courts and judges) would, out of their filled
bellies, acquit him. EII OMAN GHANA, if a
country full of resources cannot help the many
who are poor then it cannot save the few who
are rich.
it is now the time to claim back our thumbs
that we cut for them and give them to the
government that cares. I believe in the spirit of
progressive perfectibility that president Kuffour
started, and NANA A ADDO is the next I think
can continue . Let us believe in change towards
a discipline economy with a discipline
government.... will continue... thanks

The irony is that while the preach government control, they seem to practise "crony capitalism" in its most crass form! When a government controls both the legislature and the executive branches if government, it is beyond me how they can disclaim responsibility for existing problems. When they took over control of the government, they ought to have known the existing obligations and integrated that into their planning!

How does a party/government move a country forward, when everything they do is with an eye towards re-election. The NDC's strategy has been to have a littany of project littered through every single region, so at the end of 4 years they can go to them and say "see what we've done here, vote for us." So we haven't had leadership or any transformation since project managers are running the country. Since we don't have internally generates funds to support these initiatives, the govt has had to recklessly borrow. So what value is it to you if they put a hospital in your community but you can't afford to go there because you don't have a job? How many of you would deem it wise in your personal circumstances to borrow so much that 90% of your salary is used to repay your loans? Furthermore, of how much value are these projects to you when your personal economic fortunes have dwindled? Have we expanded our economy to create jobs for the young people? Have we improved our economy so we no longer have to give away free uniforms to students? Instead we are touting as an achievement the fact that these numbers have increased. Mediocrity and low expectations kill development. Add excessive partisanship to the mix, in our case, and the result is the f*cked up country we have. Who is to blame? Well, look in the mirror; yeah you.

I want to inform Ghana education service and the media that some of the Senior high schools are charging fuel fess example abuakwa state college Abusco Senior high school 20 Ghana cedis per head for the term the head master said it is taking effect from this term he also mentioned other government schools in Accra and eastern region who are into that. some monies were collected to purchase bus for the school but the PETA executives members and the head master have used the money to repair an old bus without discussing it with the at a general Pta and who are you to ask the head master will insult you. some of this things came to light yesterday day at a general pta meeting . also every term parents pay 50 Ghana cedis as studies fess and after we have paid for the school fees we do pay for bed fees again and 28 Ghana cedis as house dues every term. some parents couldn't pay fully for their children when schools resumed they were asked to sleep at the back of the gate until day break

Terkper says, the economic problems are not their fault. It is your grandfather and all those associated with him's fault. We are breeding more foolish people in Ghana than wise people.
How on earth will all the ACADEMICS and important and educated people sit on the fence and allow the NDC take Ghana back to the IMF...Are we as Ghanaians becoming animals? We have jettisoned common sense and replaced it with EMOTIONS to tackle national issues...and throughout world history all nations that never practised THOUGHT THROUGH measures end up in the pocket of the IMF..Idiots

When Ghana is being governed by Mahama-led NDC govt of thieves with a borrow to loot mentality, what does Terkper mean by debt situation not entirely our fault?
Who has been thieving the borrowed funds, inflating contracts and creaming off of it, and also mashing it indiscriminately on current expenditure? Is it the dwarves Anita DeSoso eloquently talked about?
When Dr. Bawumia and a host of others were speaking to the issues, Kwetey and the horde of incompetents in the NDC were making ugly noises.
Today what the brilliant economist Dr. Bawumia was talking about have all manifested and Ghana is a goner.
We take consolation in the fact that, there is brilliance in this country that can fix this mess created by NDC party and govt thieves and they will fix it when the NDC party and govt thieves are jettisoned at the ballot box in 2016.
