  Are the authorities listening and following this sad development at an area that should be of security concern to them? Are they aware that the contested area hosts the Kpong hydroelectric dam at Akuse?
  Otherwise, they are sleeping as usual until the worst happened. Then, the traditional fire fighting Ghanaian leadership style would be on display, waste our meagre resources in such of peace and security.
  
  Ghana has enough of protracted disputes decades unresolved. We must not add on more. Some body must call the EC to order, or listen to the aggrieved to find lasting peace to the area.
