How can you be so emphatic with this reportage when you have not confirmed what you saw from any Health facility within the district. Guinea worm is not like TB or measles which is contagious. You can only be infected by water contaminated with the cyclones of the worm. There is also the incubation period for worm to hatch.

I don't believe the story because guinea worm confirmation is done in US.The sample needs to be forwarded to USA and it doesn't take one day to get the feed back
