A Muslim Cleric{Alhaji] and a Catholic priest get into a car accident and it's a bad one. Both cars are totally demolished, but, amazingly, neither of the clerics is hurt. After they crawl out of their cars, the Muslim Cleric sees the priest's collar and says, "So you're a priest. I'm a Muslim Cleric. Just look at our cars. There's nothing left, but we are unhurt. This must be a sign from God. God must have meant that we should meet and be friends and live together in peace the rest of our days."
The priest replies, "I agree with you completely. This must be a sign from God."
The Muslim Cleric continues, "And look at this. Here's another miracle. My car is completely demolished but this bottle of Schnapps Liquor didn't break. Surely God wants us to drink this Liquor and celebrate our good fortune." Then he hands the bottle to the priest.
The priest agrees, takes a few big swigs, and hands the bottle back to the Muslim cleric. The Muslim Cleric takes the bottle, immediately puts the cap on, and hands it back to the priest.
The priest asks, "Aren't you having any?"
The Muslim replies, "No...I think I'll wait for the police."

Nii asked your chiefs what they have done with your land and stop disturbing non-natives. They bought your land with their hard earned money. They are far smarter than you and your lazy and foolish land selling chiefs.

Talking will not solve the problem, it is only by acting that the problems will be resolved. Remove all the containers built on road shoulders meant for pedestrian walk ways, remove all parked vehicles on pedestrian walk ways. Go to the Western ECG area, near Melcom, there you will find buses parked on walkways meant for pedestrians. What kind of people are we ? Don't we want or like anything nice, neat and easy ? Damn. Act and stop the talking.

YOU DON'T WANT TO BE INSULTED BY PEOPLE YOU HAVE EMPLOYED WHEN YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW YOUR MONEY IS SPENT.
NDC DOES NOT WANT TO HEAR PROBITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY ANYMORE.
GHANAIANS have given 26 years out of the country's 58 years to the NDC PARTY. We have seen nothing, but USELESS RULE. THEY ARE NOW KILLING SMALL BUSINESSES. VOTE THEM OUT IN 2016
YOU DON'T WANT PEOPLE WHO HAVE PLANS TO BANK MILLIONS OF DOLLARS BEFORE THEY QUIT POLITICS TO LEAD YOU; they won't have time for you, they will be taking care of their own.
NEITHER DO YOU WANT PEOPLE WHO WILL WEAR LADIES GARMENT ON FOREIGN TRIPS.
THEY WILL CONTINUE TO DISGRACE YOU.
To get your life back and be respected all over the world VOTE NDC OUT IN 2016

I heartily urge the city mayor, dr vanderpuiye not to relent at all in his bid to rid the city of these unwelcome miscreants. laws are laws whether they are fashioned for elections or not. it appears however that our understanding of the principles of rule of law has been so skewed and limited only to the individuals rights to elect and be elected and rather than our politians( the opposition npp very guilty, started this nonsense prior to the 2000 election with their aaba he, aaba he) eagerly assisting the people to come to a holistic understanding of the entire workings of the democratic tenet /they have instead tacitly entered into criminal pact with recalcitrant citizens to perpetually flout our laws with such abrasive and reckless impunity. and the most disgusting aspect is the kind of infantile reasons they proffer for their continuing stay on the city pavements and our streets, that they do not have jobs and that they have nowhere to sell.
Now should the lack of jobs( here no one is asking anyone not to trade or do business but where to trade ) be the bases, though it does creates room to trigger and cause such criminal activity to fester and so by extension the armed robber, the rapist or the the cocoa farmer close to the border then could advanced the alibi that since he or she has no job he could legitimately armed himself, enter anybody's home or apartment and collects the asset of somebody's hard won sweat ? ,or the rapist could also grab any teenager or girl around and do anything with her because he cant find a wife or the cocoa farmer easily carry his headloads of cocoa across the border and trade. are these reasons really tenable enough..?
but the most frailed and pathetic aspect of all this situation is the criminal and reckless complicity of the media who are supposed to help educate the citizenry on their civic rights and responsibilities among which is the constitutional injunction or requirement to all and sundry to obey the laws of the land irrespective of status, tribe faith or creed. however the media rather go out there to sympathised with their mindless impunity on the streets.. how then do we create the kind of beautiful, orderly and law abiding cities or communities we so much long for and most often attribute to the some advanced societies or even some of our sister african countries.
keep the heat on them dr vanderpuiye for we are with u. whoever flouts our laws be it assembly bye-laws or the national constitution must be dealt with. the rule of the jungle must give way to the true rule of law and which must at all times be strictly enforced. for as it has oftentimes been said the prize for democracy is eternal vigilance, and a vigilance to always maintain law and order and be enforced without fear or favor..
