Why should the press and sports minister be cozy to each other? The press enjoy their priviledges by the regard the people have for them with responsibility on them to hold people in public office to account. The law must enable them do so competently or must be changed. I can agree that in some instances the press may have to cozy up to authorities but it must be only when doing so in order to enhance public interest otherwise it becomes corrupted and devious. Respect is two way. You respect yourself you get respect. You ask questions in public interest and you are rebuffed. Go to court, seek injuction or get the laws changed. Coziness is corruption, not doing job properly earns no journalists public respect.
