Is this what these idiots in Ndc calling as school children joining Npp demonstration? These fools are behaving as if they have never been children.
The Headmasters shouldn't have apologized but I understand their apology. They need their jobs to take care of their families. Ndc is intimidating these Teachers with their political power.
What is it their fault school children in their school sang along with Npp demonstrators who were passing by? Children are by nature curious and it is curiosity that enhances learning. Theyalso like songs and will respond to catchy slogans as the demonstrators were chanting and joined in. It is not like tthese school children abandoned school and marched with the demonstrators.
The children were on their break time so what do these stupid Ndc hypocrites want the Headmasters to do? NONSENSE FROM IDIOTS.

Sarpong, sometimes you need not to support anything NPP,your people made the kids to demonstrate, they did not follow them further marching them but what they did was joining the demonstration.
That guy was standing in the middle of the kids leading them to chant slogans repeatedly, that is violation of school rules, the kids should have been prevented from going out of the school compound, you don't see the students out of the school compound that way during break time, they stay on the school compound.
The head teachers knew the demonstrators were coming and they were around to call the students back when they were running outside to join the demonstrators.
Standing in the middle of school kids to chant slogans inciting students agaisnt the government should be condemned by all loving people of the country,we can't allow people to use these young students as political tools,it is abuse of the children, let us not encourage that irrespective of our political affiliations.
These are some of the lawlessness which NPP always practice not having respect for lay down rules.

"your people made the kids to demonstrate, they did not follow them further marching them but what they did was joining the demonstration."
Corney, stop this childish nonsense. Where is your evidence Npp made these children to demonstrate? Where did you see the school children on the street demonstrating with Npp? The only video and picture I have seen are the children standing behind the school gate singing the dumsor dumsor song. Corney, you are behaving as if you have never been a child.
The children were on their break so what do you mean by the Headmaster should have called the children back? You are asking the headmaster to do a job you Corney cannot even do. Maybe you went to a school where you all never have breaks so I will let this pass.
"Standing in the middle of school kids to chant slogans inciting students agaisnt the government"
You are putting things here never reported in any papers. We all watched the same demonstration and nowhere did I see anybody standing in the middle of school children inciting them to demonstrate against the government.
Corney, these children are not as stupid as you think they are. They know the effects of not having any electricity to do their homewprk when they go home or to watch their favourite cartoon programs during the weekends. Nobody has to incite children against the government, the government has abandoned his responsibilities to the populace and the children don't live on mars, they feel the effects of the lack of electricity, Corney.

Sarpong,I believe you went to a school where your teachers let you on the loose going your own way to do what you liked but I know the school system does not work like that, that is why the teachers are also saying they should not have allowed the kids out at that time.
I know for sure in many parts of the country that school kids are always prevented from going out to watch scenes like this,it has been a policy in schools throughout the country,I have been a teachers for years in Ghana, thought in several regions, attended schools outside my home region to know what I'm talking about.
You may have to watch the video again, the guy was there saying "Mahama" and the kids were responding "dumsor" the stupid word to describe the situatio, it is there for all to watch, wrong is wrong,it doesn't matter who did it.
You always support anything NPP but when others do you go wild.
Yesterday there was a report that Eastern Regional MPs in parliament sent congratulatory message to Debrah on his appointment as Chief of Staff which is the same as the people who complained about the removal of Bani,in other words they are happy for removal of Bani but I believe you didn't see anything wrong with that,if it has been the other way round you would have been there to criticize.
Everybody including the kids agree that the power issue is a serious one that affects all but it is not right to involve kids in demonstrations,it is not right.
I feel very bad going to Ghana to live in darkness,it is not something anybody will like unless that person is not in his right mind but let us not get our kids involve in public demonstrations, that is the similar way terrorists radicalize innocent kids.

Democracy also protects the vulnerable in society.... One minute we say Ghanaian schools should not allow moderation in rules for Moslem children, yet allow them to run "helter-skelter" after demonstrations during school period? NO WAY! What if these little children went out there and were hurt or trampled upon by the mob? who would be held responsible for their injury or death?
I doubt that any political party actively recruited these kids into their demonstrations; likely young impressionable minds exercising their curiosity which must be curbed to protect them.
School children should stay in their school yards during school hours..SIMPLE!!!! That is a good and reasonable rule for pupils to follow!

How do you expect the heads to control kids on break from responding to dumsor slogans? These kids live in the country too and are affected by the dumsor. Is there a law or rule against kids joining demonstrations? I have seen school kids stand in the hot sun without water for independence celebrations and during Nkrumah's time lined up by the roadside to wave flags at Nkrumah coming through their towns, so when did kids safety become an issue? Would Okudjeto's reaction been different if the kids had yelled slogans that glorified the administration? We are no longer in the 50s and Ghana is not a communist state.
These stupid ministers should get off their high horses and focus on doing Ghana's work than wading into these partisan issues all the time.

I read with disgust some of the uneducated comments some folks are making about the kids. I wonder if these people read the whole story. The kids were on break and the demonstrators passed by. The natural inclination of children who are on break time is to have fun and anything that appears fun would catch up with them. Even President Mahama's own children would have joined the crowd. Why then are we blaming the teachers? I guess the best way to curb this from happening again is to remove break time from the school schedule. Would the teachers have been sanctioned if the children have hailed President Mahama as he passes by their school? What shame!

Npp is dishonest party, Nana Binladdo and his Npp crooks abused our School kids and took an advantage of mentally challenged in our society. Nana ordered women in the Npp to go NAKED during their evil demonstration.
next week expect another one in Kumasi
on ,25th of this month. all the children will run and join the demo
And the genes of stupidity runs through the whole of your family. Kwasia to
Even the school children know that the Ghana is now in intensive care and needs rescuing
Everybody is feeling the pains unless you have green blood in you.Ghana is going down so fast and needs serious interventions to put things right.
And yet some agency will shout that Ghana ranks 3rd in corruption and mismanagement!
We need an immediate change. Is NDC re-introducing the PDA? Then we die finish "Ghananians"
Head teachers should not use children to play politics because they are ignorant and is not done anywhere in the world. It is wrong and it must be stopped
GHANABA, did you read that the kids were on their break and joined the demonstrators? What about The NDC party executives that are still civil servants and using their offices to finance their interest?
We shall be seeing more of such since school heads cannot do anything about against the student's rights. Headteachers are going to "respect" not only their freedom of religion but also their freedom of association.
It is the safety of the children that matters. Next time they could join demonstrations by teachers. Is that what we want?
They all belong to the evil npp party
How can you call yourself "peacemaker" with such a terrible remark about a party that had ever been in government with such a massive following as NPP to call it evil?
Are you aware that in the last Parliamentary election, t ...

fire them.were the school pupils supposed to be learning or demonstrating?
Idiot kuraasenii in Bristol UK, who told you the children were demonstrating? The children only sang along with the demonstrators who passed by their schools. The children did not leave their school grounds.
Just transfer them to places or towns where they would find it extremely difficult to repeat this. And no place would be better for them than Ketu and Ho West constituencies why the people are NDC and NDC are the people.

WOULD OKUDZEKU GO AFTER THE HEADS IF THE DEMO WAS CARRIED OUT IN SUPPORT OF THE NDC.? GOD IS WATCHING
NDC's 2012 electioneering campaign song was featured prominently by school children. Why didn't GES investigate it. Impunity at its best
Hipocracy at its best!!!! where was GES when same school children were exclusively used to feature NDC 2012 campaign songs? ....this is unfair n completely unacceptable.
It should have been a more serious punishment than that. Count yourselves lucky. Know how to handle our precious children. We wont even allow you to do that to your own kids. Gracias
