As we discuss this issue, the youth of the Volta Region has issued a warning to President Mahama over their tribesman, Prosper Bani ouster from the Flagstaff House. Kofiga Adams the Ndc national organiser has been dispatched to Ho to cool tempers. President Mahama told his northern brethren to vote for him in the 2012 elections because he is one of them and hails from the region. In spite of the incendiary comments late Prof. Kofi Awoonor put in print, targeting a particular tribe in Ghana, he was appointed as Chairman of the Council of State, by an Ndc government. Be frBe frank about it.Gold deposits in the Ashantiregion belongs to the people of ASHANTI, Bauxite in Akim areas belong to the people of AKIM, The Pra River starts from the KWAHU MOUNTAINS so the quite right to sayit as it is. Oil deposits in the Western region ostensiblybelong to the people of Western region first.

What ever is found in a particular area belongs first tto the people of that area. As such these people have right to demand the government which wrongfully takes their due royalties to at least help their citizens. As started under rawlings, monies gotten from the sweats of the indigeneous people in these areas were used to finance projects in Volta region ,give scholarships to people from the volta region and even from Togoland and Benin living in Ghana.Mils. Successive ndc governments have carried on this shameful practice( is nepotism same as tribalism??).

Civil service work today under Mahama's watch is a reserved workplace only for people of the northern and Volta. Annoyingly, the Akan children dare not even apply for state scholarships let alone talk about workplace promotions.

Let this stick to your stinky tribal head that the Akans are indeed the majority, produces the lot of the riches and are the owners of the majority rich resource of the land that runs the national economy and deserves their fair share.

It's therefore far better to speak out when felt marginalized than resort to bloody tribal wars as you aim for.

For instance CMB scholarships are given to only people from the north and Volta when the Akan people produces the larger percentage of cocoa in the country, why is so?
