At least AA qualified gh to wcup and made it.to afcon semi final in his first attempt. Now, I'm not a fan of aa' style of.coaching. Compared to.Grant. I'm.sure you can tell the difference. Is grant a better coach than AA? Yes, because grant has the experience in certain situations, high profile club. Give AA the same opportunity and I will pick aa to coach ghana. Becos be can better relate to the players, has more.In common with them etc. These are all psycho social reasons for choosing a Ghanaian for the job.blame grant for the loss. He has a track record for losing. It's a fact! Has he learnt anything from those experiences you ask? Obviously not! Not only did grant fail to make the necessary changes to beat Ivory Coast before regulation. He also failed to adequately prepare the boys for penalties, in the right order. Didn't bring on his best penalty goalie. 3 Major blunders in a final will cost.You. Renard on the hand paid attention to detail like a surgeon, a film editor in everything. Go and watch the game again. Ivorians were composed and played not to get scored upon. They played for penalties..we didn't prepare for penalties and we didn't do enuff to put the game away before regulation. We didn't come with a game.plan or.strategy to win. Body language was cheesy and suspect to say the least. We just came to OUTPLAY ivory Coast. Typical Lower mentality from a Loser Coach,.Grant. He thinks he is Jewish so he was born lucky? Muahahahaaaaaaaaa

Potential teachers in training college are taught to reprimand or warn a student.The first time they make a mistake. Now,.coaching is just like teaching. If a coach sees a problem festering and chooses to.do nothing about it. Like grant saw with kwasi appiah.what does that say about the coach/teacher? How effective are they? Are they following due process? If not, why aren't they? Purposely find ways to lose a close.game. This creating a reason to remain employed, perhaps?

Juju, Kramo-Kramo, Witches, Fetish Priests, etc., are all doggone BALONEY and HOT AIR. But, here is the trick: The SHEER believe in those foolishness can empower a person's "ego & sprits" to do better, but the THING itself (Juju, Kramo-Kramo or witches, etc.) DON'T WORK.

My brother and I were wrongfully accused in the same way, during our secondary school days in Ghana, that we were using juju and other mumbo jumbo to excel both in class and on the sports field. TRUTH is that, we never believed in those things—even in those days—but rather trusted our talents, skills and God given intellect for school work. We studied hard and trained hard and those were, and still are, the only juju.

However, I'm Kool with those who still believe in juju in the 21st century. Keep believing in them, while others are using their talents, honing on their skills, using better coaches, better training programs, good motivation, etc., etc., to beat the hell out of you in big tournaments.

If Asamoah Gyan refused juju in those days, I'm glad he made that decision. Gyan is simply good with his talent and skills in the game of soccer (football), just like Pele of Brazil, and that's all it’s about. Keep it, boy!!

If juju actually works, then Togo and Dahomey would be holding the World and AFCON cups, respectively—but where are they? And, what about juju crazed Haiti and India in all this?? GO FIGURE THAT OUT, NEGRO!!

I saw a similar one when I was watching a cup final between two top European clubs in 1993. Bansere papapaah and infact the player with the bansere won the man of the match (to me) on that day. Even the dreaded Franco Baresi ...

I saw a similar one when I was watching a cup final between two top European clubs in 1993. Bansere papapaah and infact the player with the bansere won the man of the match (to me) on that day. Even the dreaded Franco Baresi couldn't mark him. In the end the player with the bansere won the cup with his team by a lone goal so this isn't new to me. Those of you who watched that match can testify. The player with the bansere went on to win Africa's best player on three occasions. So if Asamoah sayz he hasn't seen one before may be in 1993 he was a small boy.

When I hear this statement of "He promised his mother he was not going to kick penalties again...", I get lost and feel dizzy. Can our soldiers who defend our homeland Ghana from foreign invaders, say they promised their parents not to defend Ghana again so they too are going to stay away from defending Mother Ghana until our country is defeated? This is nonsense. Soccer is Gyan's profession, and he has to do it with all his might, will, strength and even to the extend of losing his life as a soldier will do. Soldiers lost their lives for Mother Ghana for the freedom you and I enjoy today. I don't care if Gyan had taken the kick and missed it. I would have loved it that way and I was going to be the first person to praise him for that courage. But running away from it, makes him now a coward warrior. And it is true "Cowards die many times before their real death..." I don't care how you spin it, toss it, or turn it, Asamoah Gyan is a coward warrior who allows the fear of a penalty kick to go under his skin and intimidate him, in spite of all the "Azonto dance"he had graduated in. Keeper Barry of Ivory Coast was scared in taking the penalty but he allowed his tremendous fear to become his only courage. So he played all those tricks by pretending he had a lot of Lactic acid build up in the muscles of his legs. Instead of performing "Azonto dance", he rather went in for the "Bee dance", falling onto the pitch and doing all those funny stuff to drive away his fear, until he gathered himself and kicked and became the unthinkable hero the world has ever had. Unlike a whole captain running away, and could not dance that Azonto dance to shake off his fear. He failed that test that day. I do appreciate all that he has done for the Black Stars (both good and bad) and he is a human just like us all, but the fact is, he could not cut it on that day. Please get over that fear and come out and become a perfect penalty-kicker and stop that fallacy of "I promised my mom ..." We will all be accountable to our Almighty God in the end and not our "Moms". Do your nation a big favor because God has given you that strength and life and not be intimidated by fear of the unknown, Gyan please. Be a man and warrior and stop running away from your ownself.(Bob Marley reiterated).
