You think everybody who recognises the achievements of Nkrumah, necessarily denigrates the contributions of his opponents. And you also think anybody who says Nkrumah did well does not recognise his shortcomings. That is why you call me Nkrumahist even though I am NOT. You just assume that everybody who says something favourable about Nkrumah is Nkrumaist.

The real thing is to show nuance in your argument, to acknowledge even your opponents' strong points. If you write for ghanaweb, you should know there are many people who come to read things here who have different views some of which are complex.

SAS is arguing that he is condemning those people who think Nkrumah is a god. How does he go on as if people like G. K. Berko, who acknowledge Nkrumah's greatness, think he is a god? Or think that Danquah didn't do anything for our nation?

It is easy to hold an absolutist position. It's more difficult to be more discerning...
