NPP/NDC can not deny this. They're neck deep into it and some how think they could out-wit and out-fox the oyibo plan, but alas noway.
The only way out is the traditional Ghanaians to take over their land and defend it.

But not to die for mother Ghana?
All the older Ghanaians who are stealing left and right in positions they were put in all went to these white man's schools under mission churches. And the education was exactly what you claimed, to hate our names and our traditional values that abhor unethical behavior. They made us into something that is no longer in the images of our black Gods.
If these mission churches think they are going to make a difference with what we have on the ground now - rotten culture- without looking deep into our culture as Ghanaians to imbibe in us that deep wisdom of Ghanaian cultural values to love our black self with everything that comes with it, I'm sorry we not going to be successful either with what they hope could rescue the rotten situation.

This is a right step taken at the right time. I expected it long ago, we don't see the changes which used to happen in the past days, the painful part of the story is that nowadays almost all deviant behaviors are from the said mission schools,in the old days parents were enthusiastic to send their children to mission schools now the coin has turned, most parents even fear to hear their children saying they want to be in some mission schools now. I like the way the catholics did their own it will very difficult to go to a catholic school without a reverend sister or father but which is not so in other mission schools like Methodist,Presby,SDA etc schools. I had the opportunity to attend diffferent mission schools from the basic level up to the training college so I know little about how some churches run their schools and if churches have full control over their schools the issue of corruption, intentional destroy of government properties and other unpathroitic lives will be minimized. I AM FULLY IN SUPPORT OF THIS IDEA. GOD BLESS THE PROPOUNDERS.

No body is saying everyone from the mission schools will be a saint but we can all testify that most students from that corner will be better citizens. Those of us who were alive during the mission schools era can testify that a good number of patriotic citizens were produced by the mission schools. Things began to go off hand when government took over the management of the nation's foundation--SCHOOLS. It is all because we do not understand the word GOVERNMENT. The very air we breathe is survivor of the fittest. This same idea has produced those FAKE PASTORS of which we hear everyday on the radio. Had they attended a mission school, the answer would have been different from what we have now. Every child needs freedom in training but too much of it has also produced uncontrollable citizens. We need to hold the bull by the horn and bring a complete stop to radicalism in the society. Hand the schools over to the missions with special expectations attached.

The white man becomes superior . The Presbyterian change our name, yes the johns, Josephs, the Daniels etc
What stupidity Look at Islam and their long dress and veils all over Africa at the expense of our culture if these schools are given to them we shall lose our our cultural heritage
The Presbyterian discipline is no better than our traditional discipline . The British ruled India for hundreds of years but could not changed their religion.
Lets Africanized ourselves through our education . It should be our culture not the white man culture in our schools. Our cultural education and religion are far more superior than the so called Christian Education .
Presby, Methodist , Anglican Roman never underrate the African religion and morals . Am appearing to the govt to increase funds to the schools by increasing the capitation grant. The present rate is too low looking at our present inflationary rate. And then more proper auditing . Go away with white man
Religion superiority

They want it to be sank in order to continue the rubbing from the people.
Christianity is destructive to many infected folks. Africa will only develop, if revolt against the culture of ignorance and learn to evalute difficult situations and find proper solutions that can match with our culture and tradition.

Unfortunately, most of these so-called elites are oblivious of the fact that the mission schools were not funded by the whites. It was our collective resources that the governors at the time used in funding those schools. The missionaries did not bring any money from the West. The then governors saw the sense of education and so when the missionaries started teaching people Christian doctrines, reading and writing and arithmetic, they saw the need to inject into the constructions of schools. From this, it shows clearly that the missionaries were managers of the schools but not the owners. The schools belonged and still belong to all of us; no particular church can claim absolute ownership. I would rather suggest that these trumpeting churches should rather start establishing new schools to prove that they are innovative and are capable of proving to the general populace that they give quality education as opposed to those managed by the government. Until they do that, it is preposterous to be standing at places to behave like the South Africans who want to claim properties hard acquired by the whites. This is my piece of advice.

What prevents the Presbyterian Church of Ghana from setting up their own schools now and running them on their so-called Presbyterian principles? It is now too late in the day, after nearly sixty years since the government took over the running of mission schools, for government to give back the running of the schools to the churches. For a long time the schools have been mission schools only in name The Ministry of Education, through the Ghana Education Service, has been running these schools and not the missions.
My point is that the Churches can go ahead and establish their own private schools (I believe the Church of Pentecost is doing that now in various places). If the Churches are successful in their new ventures the public and indeed the government would be persuaded to hand over the old schools to them to run. Until then talk of getting back the old schools is romantic nonsense born of colonial and ante independence sentiments.

Some church leaders are becoming hypocrites and as a result, exposing their insincerity. If they indeed want total ownership of their schools, they should negotiate with the government for the payment of salaries of all teachers in their schools or they give us a break.
