Some people even buy houses in Canada with no down payment. One has about 20 years to pay back the mortgage on the house. Therefore owning a house in this part of the world does not mean one is rich. NPP members in Toronto, most of whom have houses, know this but because of cheap political points, they are making it appear like one has to be rich to own a house in Canada.

Odoi-Sykes had a house in Woodbridge near Toronto when he was the High Commissioner to Canada. In order to hide the deal, the property was occupied by his long time friend Kolosah, now deceased. He pretended to be the owner of the house. Because of this arrangement, most Ghanaians in Toronto, including the NPP members thought the house belonged to Kolosah.

Osofo-Marfo came down and bought houses for all his relatives in Canada and the USA when he was the Minister in-charge of our money.

In fact, more NPP politicians have houses in North America than any party in Ghana.

Once you live and work in Canada, owning a house is no big deal.

Real estate transactions in Canada are public records. NPP Canada stop should peddling lies and post a documentary evidence to support its assertion that Nketiah has a mansion in Calgary. The NPP should gave Ghanaians a break on their lies and nation-breaking propaganda. Nketiah's fashion faux pas is not reflection on Ghanaians, as the NPP claims. 2) you npp junkies are so confused about fashion you shouldnt even talk about it, the fact is that fashion today has crossed boundaries like never before. i can remember david beckhams infamous skirt/sari fashion statement some years ago. what about the latest trend where men wear skinnier and tighter trousers than women? in fact fahsion design is dominated by highly artistic gay men and women who make their mark by being adventurous and bluring lines between what is considered "formal" and "informal". so it is stupid to say the General dressed in womens fashion when dress and fashion trends are meant to blur the lines.

to own a "mansion" as you put it, in the northern hemisphere does not make one a "wealthy person", as you and i know, most houses are bought with a little down payment and the rest in mortgages.

as long as the man is working and getting wages, i am sure he can afford to buy a "mansion" in Canada

The only person who disgraced Ghana is NPP.s Eric Amoateng, a amn who, while serving in Parliament, was trafficking in large quantities of drugs, leading to his arrest and incarceration for ten years in the USA. What is the wife's professional background? If his kids are schooling and they are not citizens , how is he paying their fees, since foreign students pay twice as much as Canadians? Furthermore, how much is he paid a month in Ghana in order to convert to the Canadian dollars to pay their fees? Does he also wear his wife's underwear and bra to save money? This guy is soooo ugly and lack charisma. He should not be allowed to travel outside the country. I wonder how the wife looks. I think she is as ugly as the husband. Yes, you can use Asiedu-Nketia's little mistake to attack the current government all you can but remember that the NPP is no different from the NDC. We saw the havoc Kufuor, Akufo-Addo, and co did to Ghana for the 8 years they were in power. Just so that you know, that govt has been the most corrupt in Ghana's history.

Kufuor inherited just about $5.5B national debt from all the previous govts. That whole sum of debt was forgiven under HIPC. Besides the debt forgiven, the donor countries gave Ghana a total grant of about $2.5B to help the country restructure. Can you show anything the NPP used those monies for, besides those funny KVIP toilets? That aside, by the time the NPP left office, they had borrowed a new $7.5B. Tell me what they used all those monies for.

Stop being dumb and partisan people! That is if you care enough about rebuilding Ghana.
