They didn't violate any entry requirement. The plain truth is that the university admitted them based on what they produced.
It is the accreditation board that was informing the university that students admitted with such entry requirements should be dismissed. They complied.
The students have done no wrong. They applied for admission based on the advertised entry requirement that they met.

I don't think the Methodist University cared about their entry qualification. It's all about money. No moral principles whatsoever in all these churches

On what basis, therefore, did the University admit these students in the first place? THE COURT IS RIGHT IN ITS JUDGEMENT.

Okesse, were you aware that you have displayed gross stupidity, immaturity and lack od simple logic?. What do you understand by intelligence? I believe that everybody has at an average level of intelligence. The point is there are some who are disadvantaged and do not have the opportunity to achieve e.g educationally. Yes. a Middle School Leaver can become a lecturer, a professor etc. There is nothing wrong with that and if you had understood the world you would realise that those who aspire always achieve. You don't need A's and Ist Class to achieve in this world! The value of a matured person in education cannot be under estimated. That is why many institutions in the world encourage and open opportunity for mature students. Education and training are challenging and it is more than just regurgitating what the book says to pass an examination. I am really proud of the MIDDLE SCHOOL LEAVER who, has become a lecturer. Bravo!!

If in a year only 20% SHS students qualify for University as per the National accreditation requirement , it means about 80% of our future
Generation may not go through the universities
Ghanaians with lower grades gain admission elsewhere. Their admission requirement is geared towards encouraging people to have degrees for the development of the nation

It is about time you stop being brain washed and thinking the Ukraine, Russia and China etc don't have good and well trained doctors and other personnel. That was the what some countries would like you to believe. It is nothing than an empty saying that my product is better than yours. Example some Ghanaians believe Togo beer, 'bebe' is better than Ghana's star, club or Goldar beers. Be real and stop this mindless and childish propaganda. For your home work, research more on the economy and the development of the countries you have mentioned, what are the quality of health of their people and do they import doctors from outside as others are doing? WISE UP!!
