It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

Ivor Greenstreet said directly to President John Mahama and Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur that: “You don’t care”.

“Nobody is feeling your better Ghana”, Greenstreet shouted when he delivered his party’s solidarity message to the NDC at the congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Ashanti regional Captial, Kumasi – stronghold of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In the full glare of the President, Vice President, former President Jerry Rawlings, and thousands of leaders and supporters of the NDC, a defiant Greenstreet said: “…Currently nobody, I mean nobody is feeling your better Ghana.”

“Continuous ‘dumsor dumsor,’ corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people.”

He added: “We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other.”

“Ghanaians are not happy at all. This ‘bronya’ is dry. Too too dry,” he told the President, adding: “The most painful thing of all is that you don’t care.”

“NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you, do what you want to do, we also know what we’ll come and do…make sure you’ll elect executives who will be able to steer your parties affairs when you are in opposition. Boys abr3.”

The wheelchair-bound Politicians has been called names and criticised by leaders and supporters of the NDC after his bluntness. While Majority Leader Alban Bagbin has said he believed Greenstreet was possessed by some demons, which caused him to be “so emotional”, presidential staffer Sam George wrote on his Facebook wall that: “Ivor Greenstreet apparently needs elevation to see the Better Ghana.”

However, Nkrumah said Greenstreet’s message was crafted by the CPP to capture the mood and mind of the entire country.

One of the things I have noticed is the call for demonstration by Tema MP and also the equation of Vice Presidential running Mate an also another gunning for Presidential office. Interestingly these don't match up. The Chairman of a Political Party is not the CEO of that Politically Party but the General Secretary. Although both are voted into Power one is not an Executive Position. I will only accept that if they qualify the Chairmanship position with the word EXECUTIVE. Basically to a lay politician like me, the GENERAL IS THE CEO. It will be better next time for Dr Gyampo to equate the Chairmanship of apolitical party to the chairmanship of any Organisation such is a Board Chairman of MMT. Even that we are aware of problems board chairmen are creating turning themselves into EXECUTIVE CHAIRMEN. Yes, that's the word, EXECUTIVE.

As NADMO boss Kofi Portuphy goes round the country a lot, and is widely known, with him now as the NDC boss, He COULD be killing two birds with one stone, As leader NADMO providing humanitarian services and been seen as the face of the NDC. Remember Dr. Kofi Busia when as the chairman of the National Civic Education Commission? He had the opportunity of going round the country to educate the citizenry on the then impending democratic elections. when the ban on political activities was lifted, he had already gone round the country and therefore had a head start against his opponents in the elections and won. The NPP know what they are doing, I bet you there is no chopping of money anywhere in the NADMO. The NPP agenda for 2016 is CORRUPTION, see NANA ADDO, SAMMY AWUKU and all the others are afraid to talk cos' John Mahama the 58 year old president will close all the loop holes when they talk.
