Is he a cabinet minister now? It takes an honest and dignified person to accept their mistakes and move on, and not try to make up lame excuses for out-out mistake.

Will Asiedu Nketia soon be wearing his wife's bra and underwear and panty-hose as well as high heels. From what we have read and glean from the story and picture, Asiedu Nketia and his wife have the same body frame, bust, size and height. Two bone to bones. The man knows he has goofed big time and has not only embarrassed himself but the country he purports to have represented. But instead of eating a humble pie, he will attempt to defend the indefensible as he cannot handle the truth in any circumstance.

Adwoa-Kwadwo Asiedua Nketiaa, what brain work did you go to do in Germany, besides suiting up for per diem and shopping? You are not cabinet minister and there is nothing you can do or sign on to oblige or bind Ghana in a contractual sense, so therefore your presence was not required. Purely this was a holiday and site seeing trip for you and you just sent the Ghanaian people the bill.

The heavy reliance on Nigeria gas which has failed us for so long is not tenable. Nigeria is not the only contry in the world selling LPG, so a decision should have been taken a long time ago to diversify our gas procurement ...

Nigeria is not the only contry in the world selling LPG, so a decision should have been taken a long time ago to diversify our gas procurement sources. In the end Nigeria gas is not "cheap" if it is never delivered. Also, is there another side of the story? Have we been paying Nigeria on time, knowing our Government culture of not paying for goods and services on time, examples being road contractors, school teachers, Hospital suppliers, etc.? At the end of the day, strategic plans are needed to address strategic energy problems. Relying on periodic tanker loads of LPG supply to power our hydro-power dams are not going to solve Ghana's growing energy problem. All sorts of energy sources, solar, wind, refining of our own crude, smaller hydro dams on our rivers, bio-fuel and even farting gas ( since Ghanaians eat a lot of beans) should be strategically be exploited.

I would like to know who is advising the President on energy issues at the Flagstaff House.Mr President you don't need to take advise on energy from the sector Minister because he might not know all the Technical,Administrative and Social implications.Telling everybody the problem comes the Nigerian Gas does not make any economic sense because the Nigerians don't give us gas for free.We can as well buy gas from Ivory Coast or any country,except you are telling us that the gas from Nigeria is free.If indeed we have enough Thermal Power Plants in the country to generate enough power for us and still the power is not coming because of gas and feul then Mr President,please check your notes well.We must find ways to buy more gas and feul for the plants to work constantly.Besides,Ghana is sitting on heavy reserve of Natural gas,just go to the Geological Institute and find out the areas where natural gas deposites are untapped.Thank you.
