  Sanitation in the country must improve before talking about advancing tourism in Ghana. Tourism cannot progress in the midst of filth. People who have paid prior visit to the country are best canvassers for tourism in the country. If they are in love with the country on their first visit, they are likely to recommend it to others to visit. One thing which does augur ill for Ghana is hygiene; the filth in our cities leaves much to be desired. And it must be eradicated first.
