It is unfortunate that we have all these DUMSOR but Mahama should not blame himself as solely responsible for that. All his predecessors with the exception of Nkrumah must be blamed. Technology has advanced and so are the electrical needs of the people. Unfortunately all of them continued to expand electricity to many parts of the country(which is a good idea) but did not make enough provisions to provide more sources of power. What are we doing with the sun's energy, the wind and even our common shit in providing electricity for the people?

6 years is a long time to get the country out of dumsor dumsor. Look at the mess America was in when Democrats took over from Bush but they have been able to turn the economy around in 6 years. It would not have mattered if the US president president died during his term as it happened in Ghana, the administration would have picked up and continued with the recovery.

Mahama can't use the "increase in population" as an excuse, considering that NDC has been in power for 26 years with a solid 20 years or so by JJ. NDC saw the population increasing but did little about increasing the infrastructure to support it. Mahama is not cracking the whip like he should that is why everyone is taking it easy on the job. We are in a crisis so we should act and work like a country in crisis.

He is right, the buck stops with him as the president of the country. Glad he is accepting blame, that is how healing starts when you get out of denial and take the right steps to recovery. Enough propaganda, let us get the work done.

I have created jobs, build more than a million houses for our low income citizens, pension money higher than b4, all the best I inherited are still in place and runing well ... We never had light or water off ever, free education , health ,etc r still in place . Wake up and stay at your country. I think you must resign cos you under performing... Ghana people r all the time been lie to. Just sit your ass down and think. Still children sitting under trees to learn, no job for the youth, light off, no better water. Health not a standard. Cancel the West Africa gas contract and divert those gas to domesticated gas consumption for cooking and some industries. Who in their right mind will rely on Nigeria? The cost benefit analysis is best if we spend a bit money and import gas from Algeria (the biggest gas producer in the world) Do that and there will be good positive results for everyone. In management they say the cost of doing things right once and expensive is better than doing things over and over again on the cheap. Stop the promises and get back to the drawing board.
