Incumbent Chairman of the governing party Dr Kwabena Adjei has told starr news in an interview that he is being blamed by members of the National Democratic Congress, for the failures of the current Government.

“Everything the Government has done and has not done well from the energy crisis to lack of funds for GETfund scholarship to school feeding programme to poor road network to lack of potable water in certain places, all are government responsibilities, I’m not the person to be blamed, but when I go out they blame me, as if I was the minister of water resources works and housing, minister of roads, minister of energy, minister of this, they put it on me,” the two-time Chairman who is running for a third consecutive term told Ibrahim Alhassan.

The former Minister in the Rawlings Government, nonetheless conceded that the complaints of the party “mirror the general view” of Ghanaians in the country.

“…I take some of the blame because I’m the party chairman, and I can’t go out of my way to deny,” he said.

Secondly, you started with 30% debt to GDP ratio that you have progressively turned 77% debt/GDP. The economy is in DISTRESS thus the IMF to the rescue. The Chinese pushed you away after several trips after they had agreed to the previous admins. loan terms, a sign of retrogress not progress. The cedi fell and about to fall again holding on the apron strings of IMF. You sold euro bonds at 8% cuopon not 4% that Ghana enjoyed previously. Internally, Treasury Bills are dumped and bank rates are as high as 35%. IMF rejected your 7.6% GDP growth and threw at you 3.6% without you having the guts to question them. You gave debt to GDP 60% and IMF arbitrary said 77% there againg there was no questions asked. IMF is now the Soverign sate of GHana payroll master: what a progress indeed. Secondly, we need to stop this "northern" nonsense in our politics. We give these people free education and free everything only for them to enter into politics to mess up things for us.

Ghanaians, please vote wisely! It's not about NDC or NPP but performance. Can't you see that these two parties are ruining our country for us?

Even Mr Mills' (whom you are complicit of his murder)time, things were much better. Corruption was less pronounced and Ghana's economy was in a better shape. By bribing the judges hugely to pave your way to the presidency, you institutionalised corruption, hence why we have corruption so much embedded in the system. You are heartless, greedy and stupid. Every Ghanaian knows that raw materials does not earn a crap on the world market since colonial times. So why is this president crying over the prices of raw materials . Every text book in Ghana has written about this vulnerability and the need to industrialize and add value to these raw materials. I think the issue of adding value to raw materials should be paramount in the next presidential debate until these guys get it. For now , it is dumsor all the way.
