Who told Nana Akanfuo Binaddo that it is the Media job to check What the Government is doing? Nana must know that, it is his Nana's responsibility as an opposition LEADER to check what the NDC Gov. Is doing ,but not the Media . If Nana Akanfuo Binaddo didn't know his job or his responsibility, then he should forget about 2016. The Npp must be blamed for repeating the same rotten tomatoes into the Market. A lip stick on a pig ,its still a pig.

Wednesday evening armed robbery could not have been prevented,Mr Police Chief, why, you men were patrolling but could not prevent armed robbery, are you serious, can't you tell why armed robbery could not have been prevented any policing, does it mean the armed robbers are now more powerful than the police,is that your admission that no kind of policing could have prevented that armed robbery?
What this police man said is not different from what one Kyei who was IGP during the Limann administration said that Ghana was a lawless place which caused him his job,a police officer cannot just give up like that saying no form of policing can prevent armed robbery, very sad.
The people of Ho are worried because Ho was not like that, things like that never happened not even when armed robbery was rampart in the country some years back,I personally got my car broke into in a hotel there which I couldn't believe.
Mr Police Officer, wake up,get your men out to work, their presence will scare the police away but if you feel the type of armed robbery at the hospital on Wednesday was too much for them to handle tell the president to deploy soldiers to help you.

Armed robbery could NOT have been prevented simply means those who are paid to prevent the armed robbery are the perpetrators!

The traditional warriors should do the job to complement the lazy police.
Everything we took from the white man is not working in our favor so can't we try the African way.
ARE WE NOT AFRICAN?

When law enforcement officials are not prepared to put their feet down and protect the people, something has to be done. I support the chiefs to act just to save their people. Armed robbery is becoming too rampant and something serious has to be done. Does it make sense for some anti societal elements with the backing of some people, terrorized law abiding citizens for their hard earned possessions? No and never and some of the options is what the chiefs have taken.

Why politicians of the political divide, the so many Think Tanks and organizations don't talk about armed robbery or go on demonstration against these terrorists we call armed robbers who this police man just admit are above their policing but they are always at radio stations talking about who is who in cocaine smuggling?
I hope we reason to deploy the military to help combat this armed robbery.

This is the problem. Have you thought of how these armed robbers at times go about their robbery in police or military uniforms? The only option is what the chiefs in the Volta Region have taken. The local vigilante knows how to protect their area well than the police or the military who are in bed with these robbers.
I understand the implications but something has to be done to protect the law abiding citizens of Ghana. Who will like to sweat for an armed robber to come in a single night and do away with all his/her possessions?
I hope the Chiefs will not renege but go ahead and use the local vigilante to protect their people.

Why should we demonstrate against terrorists, armed robbers, contract killers, arsonists, rapists, cocaine barons, etc? It is not in our mandate as THINK TANKS. Moreover, these are helping our cause: which is making life in Ghana very insecure and making the govt very unpopular to help our party win power in the next election.

Take arms away from the police. There is a reason why soldiers live in a barracks, it is because firearms discharge at will. Besides, the presence of firearms make anyplace a battle ground. Whatever happened to innocence?
