Did Ghanaians expect any better? It took the intervention of chairman-general, ksk, to stop Mahama himself from drying his laundry on the walls of flagstaff house! Ksk led months long crusade to tidy up the frontage of the seat of government. They used to roast corn & cassava on the lawns of flagstaff house! Ghana is a lost cause! Mugabe was right.

My brother, there is no need to apologize, you're spot on. Most of the lamppost were brought down by heat from the fire, remember the material used not metal, it's more like a fiber material. This is the country that we live in; nobody is accountable to anybody, nobody takes responsibility for anything. We only complain, pass the buck, we give all the excuses in the book and get promotion-yet there are people collecting tolls everyday. God bless us all.

What you have shown here is clearly unsightly and a waste of public funds. The median of the motorway has to be looked at again. Is it serving a useful purpose? It should be reconstructed to deter drivers from using it as a an main road/thoroughfare as well as to support street light poles of the kind we are seeing here.
The motorway needs U-turns. If we don't create them people will create illegal ones.

JUST 18 MILES OF MOTORWAY, NO IMPROVEMENT SINCE NKRUMAH, POTHOLES A FILLED WITH BITUMEN ON A CONCRETE MOTORWAY, LOL, LIGHT POLES ARE CUT, LOL, LOL, GRASS IS BURNT...OOH! HOW LOW CAN WE GO. CANNOT MAINTAIN AN 18 MILE MOTORWAY HOW CAN WE EVER GET OUT OF THIS ROT WHICH HAS BECOME OUR MAINTENANCE CULTURE. LOL. IT TOOK A MONTH AND A VISIT FROM THE PRESIDENT TO FIX A CRACK IN A SMALL BRIDGE OVER A GUTTER ON THE SAME ROAD LAST YEAR. DO WE HAVE LEADERS IN GHANA?

I always wonder whether the public officials who worked on the lights on the motorway do have a conscience at all. When the poles were being mounted, I told a friend that I expected those responsible to also provide metal railings along to protect these poles. Otherwise, the huge money spent on that project would simple be wasted as vehicles will keep running into the poles and destroy them. You cannot fault the drivers, because that is why citizens pay taxes. One thing I have noticed is that when streetlights and railings are damaged, it is left for years, as if there is no responsible government institution that is responsible. Just look at the railings scattered along the road between 37 and the Golden Tulip hotel. Nobody cares! Just nobody. Bust there is a government in place. Do our government ministers and other public service staff have a conscience? Or perhaps it is a reflection of the Ghanaian. It is so painful to see us exhibit such sub-human tendencies and yet this is the land where Kwame declared that the black man was capable of managing his own affairs? What a joke?

Two questions for Afua Schwarzenegger 1)why would she have to smuggle her own biological kids to Namibia before flying them to Ghana if they have a Ghanaian passports ? If they're truly her kids, 2)since she said the husband was already dead, who was she fighting with for the custody of her own biological children? The state of South Africa or the husband family? Because is only the husband who has the legal rights to do that only maybe on the ground seperation or divorce in which 80% of such cases goes in favor of the women 3 How was she able to cross about 12 police post + 6 immigration checks if she was not having a passport of those lil kids by then? 4)Afua was still a Ghanaian when she was in south Africa so her kids were still a Ghanaian till they reach 18+ before they can choose a state they want, so why can't she flew them from south Africa to Ghana directly but smuggling them through Namibia coz I know we have Ghana Embassy in South Africa whom she can process their document? ,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,
Afua must come out clean about those boys and the story behind them because there are some fishy smell around Afua's story,,,, Waiting the answers Afua?
