If he is he must (1) RETURN MERCHANT BANK TO ITS OWNERS, (2) SANCTION AFRIYIE ANKRAH THE CRYING THIEF, (3) STOP PLAYING PRANKS WITH WAYOME, ISOFOTON AND OTHER JUDGEMENT DEPTS THAT WERE FRAUDULENTLY PAID.
John is himself the number one thief, so how can he discipline thieves. He has to steal to look after his 23 or so children. Therefore all hands on deck. All appointees must must take whatever they can grab. This man is simply unfit to be president.
Ghana will definitely be better off without John Mahama. The monies being given to our very stupid chiefs is stolen money. it is monies that should go to repair our roads.

Only one God;there can be no comparison - can you silly lazy bones Agyepong hear that? Agyepong your assertion is deviod of logic - Why not apply the same logic to 1966? Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah is not acknowledged by blacks in the diaspora for nothing. I think the overthrow of Kwame Nkrumah was rather unnecessary and set Africa and the black race backward for ages. The late Mandela, Mahatma Ghandi, Julius Nyerere, Kwame Nkrumah and Martin Luther King are the most celebrated. Busia even though appreciated 'development in freedom' and proposed a federal system of government, he was not for the overall good of Ghanaians and the black race.....I stand to be corrected. He so admired the British way of life he opposed immediate independence for Ghana at the time.He supported the overthrow of Kwame Nkrumah and so others too including myself should support his overthrow by Col. Acheampong. We can not control our destiny....only the divine can do so. So let all that happened remain history we can learnt from and not bemoan. Why is he not as world-famous as Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah???????In America, in the Jamaica, in Trinidad and Tobago...you name the rest, every one knows about the Osagyefo and not Prof K.A. Busia!! If BUSIA was given the chance to rule for 9 years, like NKRUMAH,he could also have made a statement we do not know now.
I remember,BUSIA raised 1 TIN OF MILK PRICE,from 11 to 14 pesewas, and that alone incurred the displeasure of KUTU ACHEAMPONG,who took the guns to cause a coup.
It is sad,the man who gave us a voice, from NKRUMAH'S DICTATORSHIP,was ousted for just an increase of 3 pesewas.
I think Busia could also have done something for GHANA,AND GHANA WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN AS IT IS TODAY,because,no military rule in Ghana ever helped us.

It is an unequivocal fact how this Danquah-Busia clan planned to destabilised Dr Kwame Nkrumah and destroy his heritage.
If the atomic energy had NOT been sold to the Americans AFTER Nana Addo’s Father (Edward Akuffo Addo, Busia and Kotoka and Ofori Atta) took bribe to overthrow him, would we be crying wolf today? Imaging how people can be so blind and empty. They fed their kids with the booty from the spoil after Nkrumah; today these kids are here to continue their father’s legacy. Since their birth they don’t know, feel or understand when people cry of having nothing or suffering.
Their silly self esteemed and endemic mental slavery, which is continually demonstrated by their sons and daughters, is what is still holding this country abay.
When thinkers are trying to fix problems, all you can see these sons of anarchist doing is manufacturing how to destroy. Fortunately for them, God allowed them to taste power for eight years of favourable world economic conditions; after being in opposition for long. What did they use their power for?
They couldn’t add even one mega watt of energy to the country’s power generation in their 8 years ruling. Today they are behaving like an ostrich pretending all is fine. How on earth can they end up in a hair dressing salon for a loan? These are the kind of people we have in the country Ghana. Sheer incompetency, majority of them attended school and finished with no school certificates and cannot even remember which school they attended. Everything they know about economics is buying and selling. Creativity has eluded them. They only dream.
All we saw in their eight years in office was day light robbery of properties and owning them at all cost. They did it with no shame, penetrated into state reserve lands and forcefully paid peanut for them.
Siphoning from state account and redenominated the currency with impunity. They portrayed glare demonstration of arrogant and abuse of power. It is unbelievable how their numerous presidential initiatives, ended up in “MATREKO WO” island. They signed dubious contracts that have left us with paying judgement debts today.
NB: the sale of Ghana Airways and its properties abroad, Ghana Telecom, the oil Rig and Ashanti Gold Fields,….These are the enemies, demons and very evil who came to kill steal and destroy. Kuffour did not construct any road in Accra yet he managed to change and rename what his predecessors have done to create the impression that he is working.
From their birth they were thought to backbite, destroy, kill and make shameless utterances, bully, join occult and make use of cannabis.
If you are discern citizen, I will entreat you sit up and think, get knowledge and don’t sell your conscience to these reckless generation who don’t care about Ghana than to seek their self interest. Prof. Mills tried to heal and rejuvenate this nation. He was not spared with the most insult ever known in history. Prof was truthful to his words, that, he will not victimise anyone but would be a president for all Ghanaians. He believed in building Ghana afresh after their spoil but they won’t allow him.
This is what these guys stand and live for “If it’s not them then it’s nobody” What a callous and insensitive generation these are?
Wise up Ghanaians else your generation will suffer more than you are going through now. Begin to think and be creative. Government will only create favourable environment but it is up you to take advantage by your creations. No one can better your life than you. Think of what you can do today; for tomorrow may never be yours.

Ken Agyepong does not know what he is speaking about. How old was he and where did he get this information from?. Look the coup was totally USELESS as it only served those who took part in it their interest.
Back in the days in England before this said coup 49 years ago one only had to say you are from Ghana and the world would stand up for you.
The Busia's, Acheampong's Kotoka's era were all time wasters there were there for their own selfish needs. I have been to Ghana many times there has not been anything of worthy for me to see what these people achieved. So Ken Agyeong read up more on the history interpret it well without bias and come back with better analysis.

Was Kwame Nkrumah not elected by voters in Ghana? Did Ghana not have a parliament and members of the body having the right to vote their conscience? Yet it was the anarchists in the NPP parent party and the Danquah-Busia ideologues who gave and continue to give self-serving reasons for Nkrumah's overthrow. Welcome to the world of what goes around comes around and the NPP hero Busia got what was coming his way.

"“He was not one to trample on the rights of Ghanaians", Agyepong.
Busia worked with Afrifa, head of the NLC regime, to disenfranchise Busia's political opponents so that Busia could run a campaign with hardly any challenge. The same Busia worked with Afrifa to make him head of the Center for Civic Education, a position that gave Busia the sole person who could criss-cross Ghana campaigning while hiding under the umbrella of a bogus civic education. Agyapong may peddle his falsehoods, but he isn't doing a good job at that. You can condem the coup that removed your party chief, yet praise the coup that removed Nkrumah.

I am personally opposed to military interventions as a way of running a country and the evidence from all over the world proves that military takeovers rarely do work.
However, Agyepong makes it sound as if Dr Busia's government was a good one, which it wasn't, despite the popular support he initially enjoyed. His economic policy was a disaster and the degree of nepotism and corruption was unbelievable. The likes of Victor Owusu (and other PP stalwarts) became rich overnight following "sale" of state properties, enterprises etc.
I'm afraid Busia may have been a brilliant academic but he was a poor political leader, and most certainly a weak prime minister. All he oversaw was the dictates and prescription of external powers who did not understand the context of our developmental needs and certainly were opposed to the path we were following.
You cannot run and develop a country by trying to dismantle existing structure literally overnight, and replacing it with something at the extreme end - from "socialism" to "capitalism". You only worsen the problem and the turmoil his regime created was its own undoing.
Agyepong needs to spend some time studying our contemporary history and politics more objectively if he wants to be taken seriously as a politician. It is not as easy as being a civi engineer-turned television sports pundit.

They encouraged kotoka and Afrifa to line up innocent Ghanaians including one of the finest military officers, general bawa and shot dead in broad day light. After this bloody act, Afrifa handed over political power to abrefa busia on a silver plater after they banned all cpp followers from participating in the general elections. There was a democratic dispensation in Ghana on 24/2/1966 with a government voted through universal adult suffrage and a constitution in place. Busia the imperialist doll want the British to come back and continue with their experiment. Ghanaians said that they are not economic guinea pigs, hence Kofi Busia was butted out. The fact about economic reforms in Russia is that rightist Russians who bought the companies took their profits outside and refuses to pay tax. Russia an industrial country was reduced to a raw material exporting country. About 2/3 of her abled body citizens where engaged in various jobs in Western Europe, including prostitution. School children whose parents were absent were hooked to drugs. Mr. Agyepong does not know Marxist political economy thus is in the bush about China's economy. It is a fact that all the Chinese companies involved in construction projects in Ghana are state owned. Agyepong's poverty of economics.
