  The state shd cease & nationalize their land,and this shd be replicated everywhere in Ghana when there is a conflict over land.Parliament shd pass a law to back it.

  Just move these two communities to any of the regions to put an end to this senseless never ending conflict which the scarce resources of the nation are being used to prevent.The land that they vacate can be taken over by the government and used for farming and indusrial purposes.The Nkonyas can be sent to the Upper East and the Alavanyos to the Western Region.The same should apply to tribes which have failed to live in peace and pose a threat to the peace and stability of the nation.The state cannot continue to waste its scarce resources trying to keep peace in areas where peace cannot be kept because of endless tribal internecine conflicts.

  Sometimes I wander the kind of reasoning that goes on in the heads of some people before they start writing any posts of theirs to any of these delicate issues. Most of all I also question the credibility of our rule of law. Listening to issues related to this long standing dispute one might think it is without a solution but wait to reason, or ask that matters relating to lands are not documents used to settle it? This Nkonya land has been back several time by documents and all the court cases have ruled in favour of Nkonya by the use of Grunner map which has been proven to be authentic. Why can a group use terrorist activities to prove arrogance to the extent that mindless security official could only think the seizure of land to be used as a military point could be the only solution to this conflict. The govt should rethink to eliminate biases in this issue. The Nkonya has been deprived of development and now the govt is taking the people of their means of livelihood. Has it thought of the countless people who are going to.suffer for this unwise govt decision? If the govt cannot enforce the law, it should equally not usurp lands.
