Zan, from the way you presented your message I am sure you will be shocked to hear that Parliament is the most corrupt institution in Ghana, far more corrupt than the police and CEPS, or GES and businessmen.
Unless people like Zan appreciate what is happening in Ghana they will continue to make such laughable suggestions.
Zan, you have not understood the problem of corruption.

Book: "Dead Aid" by Dambisa Moyo
Every economist, African leader, finance minister must read this book!
Book: "why nations fail": an abundance of natural resources is a national curse!
These nations with natural resource wealth on average have worse financial economies than nations who don't. Why you ask? Weak institutions, corruption, bad governors, managers!
Ghana Sovereign Wealth Fund by Martin Skankar.....Norwegian Ministry of Finance
What is "Dutch Disease"?
A percentage of proceeds from oil, gold, diamonds, cocoa revenues etc should be deposited yearly in a Ghana Sovereign Wealth Fund account, a national 401k. This money will never be touched by any govt, period! This money will be invested all over the world in socially constructive projects. Projects to be excluded can include chemical nuclear projects, environmentally disastrous projects, product based exclusions, tobacco, walmart(human rights abuses). The ROI from this fund will be used to supplement infrastructure projects. Is Ghana a cursed, weak institution? Yes, I agree whole heartedly!
ZERO TOLERANCE FOR CORRUPTION!
1. Corruption Sensitivity Training: Educate the executives(attorney general, the judges, public officials, immigration, police officers)about the short, long term effects and impacts of corruption. Corruption Sensitivity Training should be a mandatory part of interview process, class, testing requirement for all ministers and public sector officials. Make them aware of the consequences and have them sign off on this. If judges, police officers, employees are educated and made to understand the explicit and implicit impacts of corruption and how it affects their own salaries, bonuses etc. Things will change!
2. Enforce the Law: Offenders must face jail time, tickets/fines, sell assets to payback what has been stolen, name and shame offenders in media
3. Put ethical persons in positions of power,
4. yearly revenue audits brief
5.NPP: Narcotic Peddlers Party, NDC: Niggas Deep in Corruption
NDC: adum a dum dum b3 gyae! Muahahahahaaaaaaa
NDC has ruled ghana more than any political party since 1957.
Yet, look at the economic and infrastructural deprivation in Volta region? Muahahahaaaaaaaaa
Fool me once, Fool me 2wice. Volta region shine ur eye wai muahahahahaaaaaaa!
Folks, how many plane crashes, church stampedes, Drugs busts, public sector corruption and stealing, bstar tournament disasters, spike in car accidents, school under trees, inflating costs of projects etc have we experienced under NDC leadership? The proof is in the pudding, nuff said!

John is himself the number one thief, so how can he discipline thieves. He has to steal to look after his 23 or so children. Therefore all hands on deck. All appointees must must take whatever they can grab. This man is simply unfit to be president.
Ghana will definitely be better off without John Mahama. The monies being given to our very stupid chiefs is stolen money. it is monies that should go to repair our roads.

He has put it so beautifully and clearly. Let us begin it right from our homes, our own doorsteps before we even step out to the world of work. I sincerely hope we take heed if we truly want to stamp out corruption and not just talk about it or use it to insult each other as is so often the case.

The catholic church itself by their very establishment and activities encourages corruption in all aspects. When people are recognized and held in high esteem in the catholic church because of their immense wealth but not religious piety and selfless devotion to the cause of humanity then one has no option but to steal. It is a bare fact that many of the prominent people in the catholic church are very much revered because of their social status determined by their pocket.Unfortunately many i also know are nothing short of outright thieves we termed white collar criminals who then rush to church to flaunt their wealth in donation in cash and kind to the church. That is why some of us are unmoved by the collection and tides some people pay at regular church service or during harvest. That is why i am not moved by the reverence and attention they get as so-called elders of the church.A former boss i worked under in a public institution is a staunch catholic. This man purporting to be a christian is an extremely corrupt medical Director in fact an outright heartless thief with very little feeling for his fellow mankind. He cared very little about the poor and destitute on their sick beds ripping virtually every resources in the hospital to enrich himself and his family. He hated me with venom because i opposed his corrupt acts that needlessly killed patients whiles he ruthlessly defrauded a public institution to illegally enrich himself. He vowed to get me sacked from the Ghana Health Service and indeed used his stolen wealth and power to get me sacked. He is still at Effia Nkwanta hospital as the Medical Director looting indiscriminately and splashing his stolen cash on his parish.Even the youth in the catholic church now know we have to join certain elite societies in the catholic church not to serve God in the interest of humanity but for selfish gains.Just yesterday i had an interesting discussion with an uncle highly place in the Knight of Saint John's about corruption and immorality in the church. Some of us have had a rude awakening and have come to the realization that the era of magnanimity and humanity examplified by Mother Theresa et al is a thing of the past.Aggressive pursuit of wealth at all cost is the order of the day why because even religious conscientiousness can be bought by criminals and suspicious characters purporting religious piety.

"DR" SPIO GARBRAH'S NOISE RECENTLY LANDED HIM A JUICY MINISTERIAL JOB IN MAHAMA'S CORRUPT GOVERNMENT, SO EVERY TOM, DICK AND HARRY WANTS TO CHIP IN BY MAKING EMPTY NOISE.
UNFORTUNATELY, SPIO CAME IN LATE, SO HE HAS RESORTED TO JUNKETTING ACROSS THE GLOBE LIKE KUFUOR AND MAHAMA TO RAKE IN AS MUCH PER DIEM AS POSSIBLE BEFORE MAHAMA IS KICKED OUT IN 2016.
IN GHANA, ONLY THE EMPTY, SELF-OPINIONATED BARRELS GETS THE JUICIEST POLITICAL JOB, AND THAT EXPLAINS WHY GHANA IS ALWAYS ON A BACKWARD MARCH.
WE SHALL ALL SWIM IN THE QUAGMIRE.

You cannot reduce bribery and corruption until employers pay workers on time and on schedule and pay wages that would support basic living standards in Ghana. But you cannot get to sustained government revenue levels until we increasee valuable work product and production levels at government offices and at private entities on Ghana. You cannot enforce best business practices and procedures in Ghana unless there are electronic footprints for most government transactions so effective auditing can take place to provide reports worth the time, efforts and paper wasted on audit reports. And finally we cannot stop or minimize bribery and corruption until we have professional, certifiable workers at effective government institutions with principles and moral compass. We cannot minimize bribery and corruption in Ghana until there is community shame that is accorded to riches without an honest work. The entire Ghanaian society is attracted to money like honey to bees irrespective of sources; it's always going to be attractive. After all we have lawyers, medical practitioners and people who should be engaged in research work eager to become politicians in Ghana because bribery and corruptive practices are advanced and normalized at the top political levels in society. Let's stop dreaming.

Parliamentarians are corrupt. There are laws against corruption in Ghana. Our problem is the judiciary. The most corrupt institution who will take bribe and play around the corrupt officials to leave them. Unfortunately, most judges an lawyers are affiliate with the oppositions so the so-called watchdog and civil societies cannot touch them for reasons known to them. Churches cherish and adore rich people no matter the means of wealth acquisition. All we do is blame the government of corruption instead of the suspects and those within us. The society is full of corrupt practices but we direct them to government to protect those involved. How can we blame government for Accountant General office's ghost names? Why do we blame government for SADA officials who stole money from the institution? What about a secretary receiving wining bonus at the Football Association? These are the problems we are facing as we divert attention for cover-ups in the country.
