Do you know why we have community colleges/ polys and universities? Each serves a purpose in society you know. Use the Internet and do your research. Go.unto the website of any community college in North America and look at the programs they offer. The first is geared towards hands on learning like mechanic, hairdressing, automobile mechanic, furniture making, tailoring, lab/computer technician, air conditioning repair, hvac, radio/tv producer, chef, police foundations, nursing, etc. After 2yrs,.grads can use their credits unto university, get a job or start their own business. Look at the financial impacts on society? University education is more theory and research based. This is the system adopted in many western nations. So if you close.down all polys and turn them into university. You have automatically wiped out the chance for any learning of professional hands on training, job creation in the interim and the future. U want to train the Ghanaian populace to be technocrats, bureaucrats and theory/research grads.forever? U think you know better than educators in North America who have poly/community colleges and also universities? If it was in the best interest of their children and nation to close down all poly/community colleges and turn them into places of higher education like a university. Don't you think they would have done that long ago? If you want to more polys, universities just build more of them in the communities,.regions that don't have them. Soon, these ndc fools will.turn stadiums into airports, churches into markets, kantamanto into hospital and have the nerve to justify their actions. FOOLS! The idiot is teleguiding that the Asantehemaa Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II, the mother of the Asantehene, is probably going to die this year, for obvious reasons: the woman is over 100years old, and old people die, that is natural. Does the idiot have any gumption about the pain he is causing the people he predicts are going to die? What a bum. How does he expect the Asantehemaa to feel? I know he, Bempah, will say he did not mention anybody's name but one does not need to be a wizard to know who he is insinuating.

Idiots like Owusu Bempah cannot even foresee what is going to happen to them by the end of today, but come out to forecast a whole lot of general scenarios that they can always go back to pull as evidence of their divine eyes. Let me also make a forecast for him.....he will not be alive on this earth by the year 2099. Now does that make me a prophet? Nonsense!

Oyokoba, as you rightly said, Asantehemaa Nana Afia Kobi is over 100 years old and I don't even think you can even get many people in Las Vegas to bet in favour of Asantehemaa surviving, that is not called PROPHECY but a PREDICTION you deduce as more likely to happen which anybody can.

Owusu Bempah actually didn't prophecy any singular event. He said there is going to be an event where Asanteman will mourn or wear black clothes signaling funeral and we have to pray. If there was no wearing of black clothes in Asanteman, Owusu Bempah will defend himself by saying people prayed and that is why the event didn't come to pass.

The first mark of a false prophet is saying prophecies do not need to be 100% accurate. And in saying that, the false prophet is also saying God lies in Deu 18:22 and God does not mean what He says. No, The bible says it mus be 100% accurate.

So, why in the world would any Christian want to follow after a false prophet? It is probably leftover pagan desire to know the future. If you ask, you might get this response “But he is more often than not accurate in his predictions!” or “But he can do so many miracles!” Often is not good enough. To me, a false prophet is a false prophet. Once proven false, I would not want to hear one word from him. As for miracles, remember that Jesus warned us that even satan and his servants can do great miracles. Read Rev 13 and you will find that the false prophet can call publicly down fire from heaven and even give life to a statue and make it speak. So, I am not going blindly to chase after miracle workers either. Always watch for the fruits of the so-called servant of God.

We heard that there was going to be ebola in Ghana by August 2014, and it never happened. Has anybody owned up to apologize. This was a prediction rather than prophesy, and never happened. I believe the Nsumankwaahene of Manhyia Palace shouldn't be offended by the revelations by Rev. Owusu Bempah; he and his elders who're near the Asante throne should advice Nana Osei-Tutu II to be cautious about the way he's getting many Asante citizens and Royals agitated by constantly associating himself with the unpopular and incompetent John Mahama and his NDC gov't.

Many of his subjects see such an association with Mahama as an insult to the Asante throne. It's no secrete that people of Asante kingdom continue to express their disgust about the on-going situation which the Mahama gov't has crafted in their bid to win more support in Ashanti Region; they even had their recent congress staged in Kumasi, the capital of the Asante Kingdom.

Rev. Owusu-Bempah, as a Pastor or Man of God has made his revelation and it's only wise for the all the elders who have access to the King to think twice and advice Nana to be extra careful and vigilant. The King didn't draw so close to the Presidency when ex-Prez. Kuffour was in office.

The revelation of Owusu-Bempah could also be that a plague could befall the Asante people like the outbreak of a deadly desease that could cause many to die; it's not only about the Asantehene---seeing people draped in "Red and Black" signifies sorrow or mourning. "A word to the wise, our elders say, "is enough."

True prophesy is to edify the people and not to create panic and fear. The wisdom to prophesy is another school of thought. No true prophet says " I had to say it where I did and how I said it because I was directed by the spirit. The spirit is gentle and full of love, more so, " the spirit of the prophet according to the good book, is subject to the prophet and therefore can control whatever comes out of his mouth. You can't just begin talking negatively to elevated people in society like the Prez pasts and present and claim immunity in the Spirit. The operations of the Spirit is synonymous with wisdom. Owusu Bempa ought to have remembered the story of King Hezekiah and the prophet.

In His famous Sermon on the Mount, Jesus issued the following warning regarding false prophets or preachers: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves" (Matthew:7:15). Jesus being the great Shepherd, His followers are portrayed as sheep. Yet these false prophets only appear to be Jesus' followers. Their true nature is one of devouring the lives of the unsuspecting—as a wolf among the flock.
Paul would later warn of this as well. He told the leaders of the church in Ephesus: "For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves" (Acts:20:29-30

).
Yet such imposters would be identifiable. Jesus explained: "You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit" (Matthew:7:16-17

). By "fruits," Jesus is referring metaphorically to visible results or outcomes.

So why can't Africans and for that matter, Ghanaians use Christ's own warnings to weed out these "quacks"?
