A one-party system has its merits. The chaos associated with a multi-party system in Ghana and United States is not found in China where one-party system is practiced. Young Pioneers instilled patriotism in the youth unlike in the current system in which Ghanaians are self-centred to the detriment of Ghana. Being the only President of a country ensures the President takes personal responsibility for the policies pursued unlike the present system where the President and his Vice waste might waste time arguing about a program to implement.

For your information, China a one-party state has the highest GDP in the world starting from about 1947 as a nation whereas America started as nation in 1774.

In terms of economic development of Ghana, Nkrumah has contributed more than any President. Moreover, Nkrumah was a leader not a manager. I hope you know the difference between LEADER and MANAGER.

So far he has shown poor judgement in decision making and has no little control over his own chief of defense staff. The rot and corruption under his leadership is there for all to see.
