Absolutely. But the rate at which you are acquiring the loans are insane and there is nothing to show for. Imagine the Chinese loan of $3 billion. Your government has been given only $600 million and yet, Ghana is paying interest on the $3 billion. What is the rational behind that and I do questioned the mentality of those who were there for Mother Ghana.

Taken loans and using it to pay judgment debts is what Ghanaians cannot accept. What is there to show for the over 60 billions dollar loan you have taken since coming to power?

What makes it so bad is that, as a country, our credit rating is so bad we borrow at a higher rate of interest.

Ghana cannot financially survive when our yearly budget is around $16 billion
and four billion of this budget is used to pay just interest on our loans.

You cannot just borrow without thinking and very soon the economy will collapse under this loan burden.

This raises serious questions over the President's stewardship, leadership and the general peformance-ability of NDC! They have caused Ghana so much hurt they deserve to be prosecuted a la emphatic rejection at the polls! It would be suicidal for the nation to choose to wallop in the unprecedented economic quagmire by naively voting for the same come 2016!

I have so much admiration and respect for President Mahama but I am sorry this is about the management of the living standards of over 20 million people and the basic economic health of a sovereign state. How do you pay for the extra GHS 200,000.00 which is lining somebody's pocket. Isn't it ironic that the billions of cedis acquired as loans cannot be accounted for? Shouldn't people of sound mind who have genuine interest in the welfare of the nation be worried about the rate of borrowing when the NDC administrations from 2008 to date, a period of just 6 years, have managed to borrow more than all the administrations from Nkrumah in 1957 to Kuffuor 2008 combined? How many of us can get to parliament, and go through the process of acquiring the answer.Will it not be sensible and factually expedient to tell us what projects you have used these loans for. Since you have nothing, you are making it more difficult and impossible to know the truth. Only a thief will do this

You really have no respect for yourself or for Ghanaians so why don't you kick out to the curb? Of all your interviews, I have never come across any that speak with humbly. You are too arrogant and I think you need help to work on that. I have never noticed any President that speaks to his people with that arrogance. Listen ending to your interviews with those FM stations, you appear to be insensitive to the Ghanaians, but realize that you are not doing them a favor. You chose to be their leader towards the right directions and if you are missing your rout, humble and seek help. How do you feel when you sit to talk to other presidents that are listening to their people and seeking advice doing the right thing,.You are losing your credibility and respect and so wake up and smell the coffee Mahama
