Ruby and her lawyer will lie to the court to get a lenient sentence. All the prosecuter wants is a plea of guilty and jail time, and will therefore not waste time determiningg if Ruby's submission is true or false. If anything at all, Ruby's accomplices in Ghana were able to bribe high level government officials, as is often the case, to help them carry out their trafficking with easy passage. Some of these government officials have been arrested, along with some acommplices of Ruby. Lets hope those cases see yheir day in court so that Ghanaians can have more information about what actually has been taking place up to the time of Ruby's arrest. There are crooks in government agencies in Ghana who are always willing to sell their souls for money to build expensive houses. There have to be periodic checks on people in sensitive positions as well as rotating officials. The BNI, instead of sitting on its rear-end and inviting people for questioning, should infiltarte some of the agencies that are known to be outlets of corrupt activities so that it can easily smoke out the crooks before they can compromise their positions. Do not trust everything submitted by Ruby. If she were hoinest, she would have disclosed the names of the persons she claimed helped her with her conduct her drug trafficking. Alhaji Duada was the person buying the government officials, and very likely is the supplier of drugs.

According to her lawyer she is not likely to return to Ghana after her jail term and could head to Austria, and what this means is that, the snake is going to start crawling up the legs of the NDC big guns involved in this recklessness of using the VVIP lounge of Kotoka Airport for everything cocaine, and turning Ghana and the NDC party into an oasis of hardened, fun-loving NDC drug barons and kingpins.
Eight years for good behavior should see her out in maybe 5 or 6years, not to talk of the stress of the workings in the cooler which can be a survivalist mode right from day one, based on the crime committed.
The good thing is that, the NDC drug trade has been exposed to the very top and Ghana is a goner for it.

.to avoid disgrace and shame in the eyes of the world...that our beloved country is an entry point for drug trafficking.i pray that there would be effective changes in our way of doing things at our airports.and sector ministries.
its a shame to call ourselves Ghanaians if we cant do the right thing at the right time. Our airports are full of crooks.the last time I was in Ghana two years ago...a guy and a lady who claim to be a security for a private company at the airport tried to extort money from me...when I refused..they got angry and claimed my u.s.passport is fake...i dared them to call the department of state or the u.s .embassy for verification of my u.s.passport .but it came up that they do that to exploit visitors on foreign passport.after a lot of open arguments and ex changes...i got my u.s.passport back from this idiots.and boarded my plane back to the u.s....i am not a drug dealer and will never be.but from the experience I had on that trip.i lost respect for those so called people in control of our airports..and some of our sector ministries.every place u go in Ghana is corrupt.i was surprised cause I don't experience the same thing in the u.s.a.if we claim to be an independent country then we should be able to manage our affairs and manage it well.i love Ghana..but for that ugly experience at the airport...i don't want to come to Ghana any longer.and I believe no investor will like to come to Ghana to experience that "crap and bullshit.honestly speaking some changes must take place at our much cherished kotoka international airport.i hope some one read this and act a.s.a.p..(esse quam videri)"( to because is better than to seem to be) thanks to the few honest people.

Should you rather not be asking Ruby to disclose names, if indeed she has names to disclose? You make mention that "as alleged in some quarters?". Which quarters? The quarters that you're attempting to fabricate? The same quarters that gave birth to Ruby Adu-Gyamfi being in possession of a Ghanaian diplomatic passport when she was arrested? When the diplomatic passport fabrication was deflated by the British High Commissioner to Ghana, you NPP guys continued to come out with new concoctions. Ruby's accomplices have been arrested in Ghana. There may be more, and only time will tell. At least this Ghana government was swift in going after Ruby's accomplices and arresting them. The same cannot be said about the NPP when it was in power while NPP Member of Parliament Eric Amoateng was arrested, tried, convicted and imprisoned in the USA for ten years. Did Kufuor's government ever make any attempt to determine who was involved in helping Amoateng and his drug trafficking? Never.
