You can change the ownership of any property in Ghana ! Your relative can assume ownership of your house he is taking care of, just by "seeing" some people at the Lands department.

Allowing the Prez to run unopposed is against the spirit with which the constitution was framed. The manner in which politicians come by money to run for President is sometimes disturbing; but even if this is the motive for this call then I am sure the President's hands might be already tied.

am not a lawyer..but having lived in the u.s.a.for a long period of time....i know how the legal system works here in the u.s.
I was born in Ghana..but grew up in the u.s.a....
I have never trusted Ghanaian public officials with the way they handle their jobs....a lot of times when I read Ghanaian news...there are always flaws and inefficiencies in their way of handling petty issues
I laugh and sometimes cry...when I see square pegs been put into round holes.and ask myself..when will Ghanaian official learn from their mistakes...most of them boast of big degrees...but when it comes to decision making.they are like "class one kids"...when will Ghanaian officials grow.am not been disrespectful..its a known fact to those of us living outside...u travel out to Ghana and go to a public sector ministry...most of the employees dont know their work code of ethics.all they know is bribery and corruption...what a shame..yet they call themselves "lawyer this and lawyer that"where is their professionalism?????..they don't need to be rocket scientist to know what they are doing. I rest my case here....

The one thing these classroom educated ignorant people always forget to talk about is that democracy is successful with informed citizenry along with effective and efficient institutions of government. Where in civilized industrialized democratic Western nations can anyone in the NPP point to where “bush men and bush women” try to stand in the way of law enforcement operations with wanton impunity? The disrespect for law and order in Ghana has been on the rise because of the indiscipline and disrespect people in the NPP and NDC have shown for government and government institutions as they lead mass demonstrations against everything in Ghana.

Was it not our legislators who drafted and approved laws that call for confiscation of assets of people convicted of drug trafficking? So how is it that anyone would tolerate the so-called shameless family of a woman who single handedly disgraced Ghana with her selfish and greedy life style? There are times what our political parties do in the name of unwarranted agitation of the masses comes back to bite us all and this is one of those moments where NPP card carrying members ought to hang their heads in shame instead of the brazen foolishness of Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia going around talking a whole lot of trash. Remember one of your NPP former parliamentarian is back in Ghana from his prison sentence in the USA and he is also engaged in a fight with the Ghana government to hold on to his assets. Would that clown of a member of parliament stand a prayer in hell if he lived in the USA and was caught with that much drugs?

Drug barons mainly launder their dirty money so it takes time but it is possible to trace such money. It is for her to prove that her houses and assets were legally acquired if not it should be seized. She is a criminal she should be made to pay. It is perfectly within the law to seize her assets regardless of where she was arrested.

many Ghanains in Ghana as well as aboroad work hard and save their earnings to build homes in Ghana. Drug dealers in Ghana, on the other hand, buy government and airport officials to help them tarffick their drugs, proceeds of which are used to put up lavish homes overnight. The government has a duty to stop this drug nuisance, and it needs to go after all those arrested and convicted of drug dealing to confiscate homes and businesses that belong to the those arrested and convicted of drug dealing.

The government has no right to prevent her from selling any of her daughter's properties as she has not been convicted of any crimes in Ghana. Where are Ghanaians' sense of justice? As it stands right now, it appears no charges will be brought against her, having already been convicted and sentenced to jail in Britain.
