  Ivor Greenstreet said directly to President John Mahama and Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur that: “You don’t care”.
  
  “Nobody is feeling your better Ghana”, Greenstreet shouted when he delivered his party’s solidarity message to the NDC at the congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Ashanti regional Captial, Kumasi – stronghold of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
  
  In the full glare of the President, Vice President, former President Jerry Rawlings, and thousands of leaders and supporters of the NDC, a defiant Greenstreet said: “…Currently nobody, I mean nobody is feeling your better Ghana.”
  
  “Continuous ‘dumsor dumsor,’ corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people.”
  
  He added: “We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other.”
  
  “Ghanaians are not happy at all. This ‘bronya’ is dry. Too too dry,” he told the President, adding: “The most painful thing of all is that you don’t care.”
  
  “NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you, do what you want to do, we also know what we’ll come and do…make sure you’ll elect executives who will be able to steer your parties affairs when you are in opposition. Boys abr3.”
  
  The wheelchair-bound Politicians has been called names and criticised by leaders and supporters of the NDC after his bluntness. While Majority Leader Alban Bagbin has said he believed Greenstreet was possessed by some demons, which caused him to be “so emotional”, presidential staffer Sam George wrote on his Facebook wall that: “Ivor Greenstreet apparently needs elevation to see the Better Ghana.”
  
  However, Nkrumah said Greenstreet’s message was crafted by the CPP to capture the mood and mind of the entire country.

If NDC is really truthful to themselves they will know he spoke the truth and if you ask Ghanaians, I am sure 80% of the people will agree with him.   Nowadays businesses and government organisations have stopped demanding Secondary School Certificate or Basic Education Certificate.
  
  Each of these certificates are important. For example for many tertiary graduates the only certificate that can tell whether one can speak good English or whether one has adequate knowledge of Mathematics is the Secondary School Certificate.
  
  Similarly the only certificate that can tell whether a tertiary graduate has basic knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, agriculture and the basic geography of West Africa is the Basic Education Certificate.

  What has this got to do with National Service allowance? Secondly I support the idea that a bank account should be opened (direct deposit account) this would help reduce or eliminate corruption in the system and direct deposit system should be introduced in all govt. services and before one cashes the pay must show employment/national identity and position, it should apply to everyone employed in the govt. system without favor, this may somewhat help to reduce bribery and corruption which has been a 'cancer' in our society for far too long; thirdly the govt. should consider introducing salary/wage payment (fortnightly)-every two weeks to ease the financial difficulties of workers, private companies should consider doing same and when there is money in the system things would change for the better somehow, don't "slam" me please for I ma no economist or financial expert, thank you!

  The govt. can request the banks to waive service fees for national service bank accounts until or after the tour of their national service duty and when they're gainfully employed;also they can close their accounts after their service without any penalties if they have not gained employment, the govt. can put in place regulations or enact laws to that effect.

  towards employment but my quetions was what has this got to do with their opening bank accounts for the direct deposit of their allowance, one would not be doing the national service if he /she failed the BECE, SSSCE or graduate exams, isn't it?

Its easier to talk than to execute. Now you create more problems for the kids and frustrate their livelihood. Can't a proper system be decide upon once and for all what are these book people paid for. So so paper qualification no constructive brains. NDC and their quack professors and doctors are just brain-short.

  I just think Mahama just have some complex with the 'Dr' title, otherwise he wouldn't appoint so many useless 'doctors' into sensitive places, on what basis did you figure that DOCTOR Kpesah Whyte could handle NSS??
