If Ms Ametefeh has been allegedly doing such manoeuvres since 2009 goodness knows how many of such people have used this method just because of their status in society as security around such people have been relaxed. No one can be trusted when it comes to such issues any more as our security is at stake. We should not even allow the VVIP section security to be relaxed so that unscrupulous people take advantage of such freedom afforded to them in the wake of this saga".

If he is he must (1) RETURN MERCHANT BANK TO ITS OWNERS, (2) SANCTION AFRIYIE ANKRAH THE CRYING THIEF, (3) STOP PLAYING PRANKS WITH WAYOME, ISOFOTON AND OTHER JUDGEMENT DEPTS THAT WERE FRAUDULENTLY PAID.

John is himself the number one thief, so how can he discipline thieves. He has to steal to look after his 23 or so children. Therefore all hands on deck. All appointees must must take whatever they can grab. This man is simply unfit to be president.

Ghana will definitely be better off without John Mahama. The monies being given to our very stupid chiefs is stolen money. it is monies that should go to repair our roads.

Kojo, you have made good points.The activities of the said health workers is appalling and must be curbed.This can only happen in our motherland.Perhaps the people should be very outspoken about these issues.It would appear corruption does not only apply to those in government.The canker has affected every social strata in Ghanaian society and could only be dealt with by changing social norms.I bet the health workers cited,do not see their actions as being corruption.It is only " noko fioo".Somebody drains government coffers to build a house at East Legon and another extorts 5 Cedis from each patient-it is all corruption .Nurses and Doctors at Mamprobi Polyclinic need to extort money from vulnerable patients as an incentive to work hard? Where is their dedication?Ghana is well and truely fucked up.It was once said,a civilised country could be judged from how the most vulnerable of that country are treated.

Is some corruption worse than another? Everyone is extorting from the other in Ghana and we should stop talking as if corruption is a problem with only some group of people. Extortion has become woven into the Ghanaian societal fabric. I am surprised this should even be a news item worthy of reporting. Ghana is full of stupid hypocrites. Is it because this was in a hospital? Where does extortion not take place in Ghana? Hospital workers are also Ghanaians and are expected to practise the Ghanaian culture of extortion.
