He needs to stop issuing threats and come out with what needs to be done so Ghanaians can have power 24/7,365 days a year.Shutting down generators of officials of VRA is a none solution.

The Honourable Minister is a PHD holder and therefore must know has to apply strategic thinking to solving problems.He has been challenged by the President to solve the problem of power shortage presumably by using his intellectual powers.

In this case the Minister seems to be heading in the direction of failure if he simply passes on his challenge to another entity.

I suggest the Minister constitutes an advisory commitee to help him address the crisis of power shortage. Ghana cannot afford several more years of trial and error.

Indeed! Coming from the Minister of Power, the statement must carry "power" punch -- no pun intended. Seriously, is this the government's policy on power supply for industrial and residential use? How does anyone take this high level government seriously with such infantile tantrum? How does he intend to lead the charge into residences of individuals to disconnect generators? What happens to the confiscated generators? Would he sell them to scrap dealers at Kokompe? What if these generators are purchased with savings by the government officials? I expect grownups to be circumspect with their statements. There is no doubt about the frustration of Ghanaians due to the unreliable power supply. How would Dr Donkor's confiscation threat solve the problems of citizens living in darkness; finding it impossible to refrigerate food; reduction in productivity; unable to read and communicate. Let's get serious Dr Donkor. Your official job expectation requires more than you are currently fulfilling.

The Minister is not serious. The issue is that Ghana electricity demand is about 6000MW and we can only supply at best 2000MW. 4000MW cannot be found from anywhere within 6 months

It is an EMPTY THREAT to disconnect generators providing power to the bungalows of the ChieF Executive Officers' and top officers of the VRA AND TICO.

Ghanaians, this stupid Minister's ultimatum, did NOT give any day in June nor any particular year. Nobody knows when the ultimatum takes effect.

This foolish Minister thought he was talking to Kids. The President and the NDC have ROUGHENED THE FEATHER OF Ghanaians for far too long and Ghanaians must not yield to these NONSENSE.

If Minister's speech is carefully and critically analysed, THE LOGIOCAL CONCLUSION is a kid TELLING ANANSE STORY TO PEERS or A KID LEARNING HOW TO SPEAK.
