The Council of State says they are IMPRESSED with the GOVT's EFFORTS in fighting Corruption. Why would Govt., its Agents or anybody listen to such ADMONITIONS from the Okyehene or, for that matter, many Celebrated Ghanaians such as the Moderator of the Presby Church, Pastor Mensa Otabil, Presidents Rawlings and Kufuor, and Many Countless others, when the Constitutional Body whose ONLY MANDATE is to hold the Govt. in CHECK says ALL IS WELL.

Let N-O-B-O-D-Y be fooled that We are FIGHTING CORRUPTION.

Nobody is Fighting anything. We are just PARADING the FEW who are STUPID Enough to GET CAUGHT. This simply serves as a WARNING SIGNAL to those engaged in Corrupt Practices to COVER their TRACKS and Leave NO TRAILS.

It would take the whole IMF which is very Busy seeing to more serious Problems in Economies of ALL the World's Countries to see to a BASIC and FUNDAMENTAL Exercise such as EXPUNGING Ghost Names from the Govt. Payroll, when ALL IT TAKES is to have Employees Appear in Person to sign for their Pay and the Bank Accounts into which their Salaries are Paid are SCREENED for names NOT in the EMPLOYEE Roster. If we CANNOT find Ghanaians to PERFORM this VERY SIMPLE TASK, how do we find Ghanaians to undertake the MORE SOPHISCATED Fighting Corruption Demands.

Regrettably, There are Ghanaians who would not be Considered for REASONS Anybody or any Team wanting to WIN a FIGHT Would NOT OPT For.

But The Council of State says THEY ARE IMPRESSED with the 'FIGHT' which has NOT Even STARTED.

My Problem is that just a day or so ago, ALL of YOU who MATTER in GHANA, the 'REAL OWNERS' of the Land were ALL SILENT when the Council of STATE made the RATHER NAUSEATING REMARK that it was IMPRESSED with Govt.'s Fight Against Corruption. NONE of you, Ghana's OPINION LEADERS, even asked 'WHICH FIGHT?'

HOW CAN ONE BE IMPRESSED WITH A FIGHT THAT IS YET TO START?

Such statements DON'T HELP MATTERS.

It ONLY makes all of us FEEL we are ACHIEVING something in our 'NO PROGRESS MADE SITUATION' and makes those Engaged in CORRUPT ACTS COMFORTABLE with their PRACTICES.

It should Not Take BLOGGERS to ask for EVIDENCE from the Council of STATE as to WHY and HOW any one with 20/20 VISION could say a Fight is going on and they are Impressed with that Fight when ALL of US don't SEE or HEAR of a Fight except more Corruption Uncovered NOT by Govt. or its Agents but by the Awuni Azzurres and Anas Amereyaws of the Day?

The Opinion Leaders of OUR TIME, must NOT RESORT to ONLY Making Statements when they have the PODIUM. They MUST CONSTANTLY ATTACK those who are in the WAY.

The retort to the Council Of State should come mainly from the opposing political parties. These opposing parties are however walking a fine line hear because of the division among the citizens. Also this NDC leadership knows how to go after their critics. See what happened to Greenstreet? Is it not amazing how Rawlings, the pontiff corruption critics, is silent? We have a big problem in Ghana, you know. The people need to wake and see the bunko being played on them.
