To believe or not to believe is matter of choice. What this priest is saying is rubbish. What percentage of the British regularly goes to church? China is mostly irreligious country yet the country is doing well economically. Materials things are also important. Most priests seek medical help abroad when they fall sick. Priests are able to afford expensive medical treatment abroad because the material contributions of the congregation are used for the welfare of these priests. The priests can afford high quality medical care overseas whereas members of the church cannot. This is also a tangible material benefit. The retirement age for most priests in Ghana is 70 years, whereas ordinary citizens are forced by law to retire at the age of 60. Believing may not confer any advantage on any country or any individual. We need to enforce our laws, repeal some, and enact new ones. And we will be ok.

Chinese mainly follow their own religion Buddhism,Taoism, and Confucianism but they use their God given brains and common sense to think critically and practically to prevent and solve basic problems. Unlike the Chinese, we Ghanaians have deadened brain cells so we cannot solve even basic hygenic problems. We wait on Christianity to build toilets in our homes. We are lazy, addicted, and intoxicated to religion and wait for miracles to come and clean our gutters to kill the Mosquitos.

True God fearing pp think about others (their nation) and not just their pocket. Ghanaian leaders only think about their pocket (worldly things) which the Rev. was referring to; he wasn't how many times they go to church.
