Kwame, if you had taken the pain to read three words pass where you stop, you could have notice these words ….”And its appointees” (Appointee as defined is one who is appointed to an office or position). Who appoint these lazy and incompetency state prosecutors who continue to fail to appear at the court when a case is called? I can give the list of cases where state prosecutors have failed to appear and we have no hint about the case outcome. However, let us concentrate on one case. Do you remember the arrest an arsonist prior to the election where the presiding judges was compile to grant a bail the accused because the state prosecutor’s office failed appear when the case called on numerous times? What has happen to the alleged arsonist? Please, let us not talk about the YA-NA case where state prosecutor was absent some many time and were outperform by the defense that led to acquittal of all the sixteen accused persons.
What do mean by NDC incompetency? This is what I mean by NDC’s incompetency Failure to realize they have underperform officials occupying various positions without any gut to terminate their appointments

If Ms Ametefeh has been allegedly doing such manoeuvres since 2009 goodness knows how many of such people have used this method just because of their status in society as security around such people have been relaxed. No one can be trusted when it comes to such issues any more as our security is at stake. We should not even allow the VVIP section security to be relaxed so that unscrupulous people take advantage of such freedom afforded to them in the wake of this saga".

The case agaisnt this girls was as porouse as a basket. Nkwaseasem kwa they did not have a case to begin with we shall sue the goverment for false arrest and prison.

I am NOT SURPRISED the Attorney General's Department was not represented in Court, but I AM only SHOCKED that they will PLAY this CARD this early in the Court Process.

We all knew from day one that in view of some of the persons arrested in this matter and their connections to the Powers that Be, it was only a MATTER of TIME that the State would behave in a manner that will COMPEL the court to Admit the Accused to Bail.

How can the A-G's office NOT show up in such a case that the WHOLE WORLD seems to be interested in?

It is part of the Strategy of those High-Up in the system to Frustrate the Court Process to the extent that the Judge will have NO CHOICE but to release the Accused persons on Bail.

In a CRIMINAL Proceeding such as this case, The State versus Alhaji et al, the accused persons are considered INNOCENT until PROVEN Guilty. Bail was Imposed Presumptively, but not to the extent that the Accused Persons will be DENIED the LIBERTIES unreasonably.

If the State is not showing up in Court to PROFFER as to why the Court must continue to hold the Accused Persons, the Judge, PROCEDURALLY, cannot continue to RESTRAIN their Liberties.

Remember that a CRIMINAL Proceeding is an ADVERSERIAL process. You Cannot ACCUSE people of a CRIME, take them to Court and seek their DETENTION and not appear in Court to explain why FURTHER DETENTION is necessary. Under the Guidance of Criminal Procedure, you leave the Judge with no OPTION but to ADMIT the SUSPECTS to BAIL.

The Judge in the FIRST INSTANCE of a NO-SHOW by the AG's Department, KNOWING that the WHOLE WORLD has an INTEREST in the OUTCOME of this Matter, will seem to be CONSTRAINED in granting Bail. But it is ALL PART of the GRAND SCHEME.

The A-G's Department has ALWAYS Appeared in Court on the MUCH Lesser Charge of Illegal Acquisition of a Passport by Eric Amoateng. So Why CAN'T the A-G send even a MESSENGER to the Court to explain why the State would not be represented and Give REASONS in writing explaining why further Detention of the Accused Persons was necessary?

This is a REAL SHAME, and if I were the British Government I would WITH-HOLD Any AID if this GRAND SCHEME being PLAYED to the GALLERY is allowed to Prevail and the ACCUSED are EVENTUALLY FREED, and the State FAILS To PROSECUTE, which OUTCOME has been SUSPECTED from DAY ONE and has COMMENCED by the A-G's NO SHOW.

Someone has used the VVIP which is reserved for the president with 12.5kg of cocaine and the attorney general department did not appear in court, there is something wrong with NDC government if you do not know. Next time use your thumb wisely. Atuguba and Afari Gyan are to be blamed for this.
