Oh my people, why don' we have the facts of the matter. The history of my people should not be disposed to unambiguity and the truth should be known to our youth. Whoever is trying to buy his way up should be ashamed of himself and must repent. We are proud of our heritage. Let's not allowed politics or selfishness or greediness or other negative tendencies to smear our heritage. Funny. For those who don't know, Tetteh Kwei can never make up his mind where he stands; should he stand firm as people thought he would at first instance, when the Ga State, at its most vulnerable needed men of resolve to help her stay steady, or switch sides or as some will have him, chase after material gain when wads of cash were promised him?
Tetteh Kwei betrayed the Ga State when he sold his own soul to the moneymen for 200 million old Ghana cedis in 2005. Funny that it kept him stocked with the finest akpeteshie in Ghana for a while, and while it lasted up till and many years after a bonafide Ga Mantse had been duly chosen, in the person of Adama Latse ll, was more than happy to let peace reign in Ga. Why now?
Tetteh Kwei has no moral compass. Was it not Tetteh Kwei who run off and left the authorities in confusion after he had assisted the Ga Dsaase to issue a statement and condemn the action of one Joseph Blankson – Lartey ‘ s unilateral declaration of himself as a Ga mantse? Did Tetteh Kwei not denounce the office of dsaasetse after he had been duly consecrated by the Sakumo Wulomo, saying he did not wish to accept that responsibility? Well, the Ga State is bigger than any one individual and there are others to fill in.
For those who need to know, and also have answers to the many questions raised in the Today newspaper with this so called statement from a Tetteh kwei's spokesman that, ''They went on to posit that Nii Yaote Oto-Ga II was only appointed to act as Ga Paramount Stool Dzaasetse after Nii Tetteh Kwei II who is the sustantive Dzaasetse had an issue with elders of the Ga State.’’
Read carefully into the underlined above and you will understand why such a person is unfit to head a state council the dsaase that has for hundreds of years chosen a mantse in Ga. Does this admission of an ‘issue’ not point to a character flaw in this Tetteh Kwei?
Tetteh Kwei knows that Nii Otoga is correct in questioning his legitimacy to call himself dsaasetse because he Tetteh Kwei was duly destooled by the same office holder who consecrated him. After much deliberation and soul – searching, the Ga State office holders who investigated the behaviour of Tetteh Kwei, decided that the person acting must continue, and Nii Otoga subsequently was consecrated at a ceremony a few miles to the West of Ga Mashie on a moon lite Saturday evening in 2008/9.
Surely, if as the article quoted ‘…Nii Oto-Ga was only parading as the Ga Paramount Stool Gyase Tse because his traditional authority was already held by Nii Tetteh Kwei II, who has been performing the duties and functions of the Ga Royal Stool Gyase Tse.’, then questions must be asked of the collective judgement of this faceless and nameless ‘’Ga Dzaase Council, Ga Traditional Council, accredited heads, elders and representatives of the Ga Paramount Dzaase which constituted the four Royal Ruling Houses of the Ga State namely, Nii Teiko Tsuru We, Nii Tackie Commey We, Nii Amugi We and Abola Piam We.'', that the Today newspaper claim to have spoken to.
Can they please stand and be seen and counted as authorities in Ga matters and stop making fools of themselves in a bid to shore Tetteh Kwei with some history to legitimacy. Giving a convoluted history of his background does not make him acceptable. Rather they will get him further exposed for who he is, who is father and grandfather were and how they came about in Amugi We. Enough said

Nii Amugi, with the help of the Late General Acheampong, made himself the Chief of the Gas when in fact he was only the Chief of Ga Mashie which covers just over a mile radius in the Cowlane area of Accra.The Chiefs of Labadi,Teshie etc were all ranked higher than Nii Amugi in the Ga dynasty.If this anomaly is not corrected, there will forever be fighting amongst the Chiefs of Ga.
