  Three weeks go by and the first couple comes back. The pastor says, "So how did it go?"
  "It was pretty hard, but we made it," says the first couple.
  "Well, welcome to our church," says the pastor.
  The second couple comes back and the pastor asks them the same question. Their reply is the same as the first couple's.
  The third couple comes back and the pastor asks them the same question, and they reply, "Well, we were doing pretty well until last night when she bent over to pick up that can of Corn Beef and beans and I just put it to her."
  "Well, I'm sorry, but you're not welcome to our church," says the pastor.
  "That's okay," says the third couple, "We're moving. We're not welcome at the grocery store either."

  These nations with natural resource wealth on average have worse financial economies than nations who don't. Why you ask? Weak institutions, corruption, bad governors, managers!

  What is "Dutch Disease"?
  A percentage of proceeds from oil, gold, diamonds, cocoa revenues etc should be deposited yearly in a Ghana Sovereign Wealth Fund account, a national 401k. This money will never be touched by any govt, period! This money will be invested all over the world in socially constructive projects. Projects to be excluded can include chemical nuclear projects, environmentally disastrous projects, product based exclusions, tobacco, walmart(human rights abuses). The ROI from this fund will be used to supplement infrastructure projects. Is Ghana a cursed, weak institution? Yes, I agree whole heartedly!
  
  How to stop Corruption
  1. Corruption Sensitivity Training: Educate the executives(attorney general, the judges, public officials, immigration, police officers)about the short, long term effects and impacts of corruption. Corruption Sensitivity Training should be a mandatory part of interview process, class, testing requirement for all ministers and public sector officials. Make them aware of the consequences and have them sign off on this. If judges, police officers, employees are educated and made to understand the explicit and implicit impacts of corruption and how it affects their own salaries, bonuses etc. Things will change!
  2. Enforce the Law: Offenders must face jail time, tickets/fines, sell assets to payback what has been stolen, name and shame offenders in media
  3. Put ethical persons in positions of power,
  4. yearly revenue audits brief

Now, after stealing all of Ghana's money, these stupid and low life miscreants from the NDC are plotting more of the same misery on Ghanaians in 2016? Ghanaians would be the biggest fools on this planet if they vote for NDC in 2016. And, when will the corrupt Electoral Commissioner be changed? Dr. Afari-Djan has no credibility whatsoever!

  Having inherited the best economy since the 60s, with a debt to GDP ratio of 29 percent and a booming oil discovery in 2008, Nana Akufo-Addo said the Mills and Mahama administration have succeeded in mismanaging the economy.
  
  He said Ghana now has just $1.5billion import cover which will only last for two weeks, with a projected 2015 GDP growth rate of 3.9 percent which is the lowest in the 2000s.
  
  He said Ghana's 2014 economic situation was worse than that of 2013. And that of 2013 was worse than that of 2012 and same can be said of 2010 and 2011.
  
  According to him, Ghana's budget deficit in 2014 was pretty much the same as the national budget of 2008, a testimony of how bad the country has been governed.
  
  He said the country worked hard to wean itself off the IMF and its conditionalities, only for the Mahama administration, with oil revenues, to quicken the country back under the umbrella of IMF.
  
  He said the "calamitous decline" in the country's fortunes has crippled many firms, asking,
  
  "how did we go spectacularly wrong" as a country?
  
  Nana Akufo Addo said it is therefore not surprising that the country which Obama christened as the shining star in Africa is now being described by the Financial Times as tarnishing Africa rising stars.
  
  He said it is time to "spend wisely" and give workers the incentive to excel.

But what do we see in Ghana? Hands off until there is a problem and MPs get on their soap boxes. Not too late to act.

  In Ghana, we act like ostriches, hiding from the problem. Until the clerk, who demands 5 or 10 cedis from you before fishing out your file to be worked on sees himself as corrupt, we will never conquer this problem. Corruption will die, if people do the jobs, for which they are paid, without expecting anything else in return. The whole populace should also stop showing appreciation for the normal duties people are paid to perform.
  CDD send the message to the whole populace to know how we all contribute to the corruption chain. It is true that the politicians 'chop' big, but the nursery of the corrupt attitudes are embedded in our everyday life. Let's change our attitudes to work and work, like unto God, and corruption will take leave of us.
  If the citizenry were not corrupt, we won't end up electing corrupt leaders. Let's change.
  This is my take.

  In order to annihiliate corruption to the minimum,Government should learn from China the actions it takes to combart the situation in their country to ensure that at least, there ist some kind of cleaniness in the system.For about one and half years now,wwwhigh party officials have been imprisoned,the latest being just yesterday for life imprisonment for taken bribes to the tune of six million USdollers. Yes, this is a country which has promised the electorates zerro torrelance against corruption,it is not the hyper type called the Adamic corruption which can allow party members and founders dressing their pockets and superintending the poor in society to die out of porverty.
