Yes, there was dumsor in 2007 because of the low level of the Akosombo Dam. It is not true that NPP did not add anything to the power generation. A lot was done and that was the reason why the situation improved remarkably in 2008.

No one particular administration caused this problem. rather, the problem lies with the inability of all of Ghana's administrations to have concrete plans to address the problem since the ouster of the CPP administration. The current administration and Parliament will have to work together on this issue if a lasting solution is to be found, for the problem requires more than an easy fix. Alhaji Bature can't assure anyone that the crisis will be over soon, for he's not a policy-maker within the government. Bature's assurance is just as fake as TB Joshua's predictions.
