There's something fishy about Mr Amoateng's case and I predict that the prosecutor will loose the case because when you read the whole story both the witnesses and the prosecutor, you realised that its a planned thing and its initiated by the ruling party officials who want to see Amoateng in jail again just to score cheap political points. who issue the passport ? Ghana immigration Department should be ashamed of themselves of allowing themselves to be used by crooked NDC officials.

It's not quite like buying a ton of gold.If this was an unknown pauper, even the authorities would refuse to keep him in jail. Don't we have more important things to do?

Well, BNI knew already, that Amoateng was going to travel on a forged Passport. That is how they could inform the prosecution witness (Lodonu) on August 5, before Amoateng arrived at KIA two days later.

As for the Passport itself, the forms filled by Amoateng were obviously not used. BNI allegedly picked Barbara's passport from the GIS Passport Office. Somebody then stole(?) Barbara's passport, which was in the custody of BNI, together with the corresponding forms.
Amoateng's DATA was then successfully forged on to Barbara's forms. And the 'bio-data page' of Barbara's Passport "neatly" forged.
Question is: Who has the necessary utensils to forge a passport that was in custody of the BNI, before delivering same passport to Amoateng, and informing BNI that "Amoateng will be travelling with a forged passport"?
