  I stood up for Ms Lamptey (as I always would) when I presumed a fellow woman was being harassed by the Hawks we have in Ghana called men!
  
  I think my patience is running thin on this case, She either prove herself OR GO. That money could have built a house for whoever occupied that position. Yet, the State is again paying to a private individual on her behalf.
  Prove yourself woman, or GO. The expense is ridiculous and unjustified.

  One thing that both of us probably have in common is our mistake to presume that people holding positions in Ghana have the same sense of responsibility and dedication towards duty.
  
  She does not believe she would do us, and of course herself a favour by leaving the scene honourably.
  She does not seem to know she's done anything wrong, because it is the duty of the State to find her a 'suitable' accommodation.
  
  But just forget about "competent Female Legal Brains out there" and call for one of the 'Nice Kumasi Guys' (the only way I can pull your legs, lol!)

  If the VVIP staff processed Ms Ametefeh and two other women then, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should have at least the names of the two other women. Have they passed on those details to the British authorities?
  
  There are more questions than answers on this case. We are watching with interest.

  Nowadays businesses and government organisations have stopped demanding Secondary School Certificate or Basic Education Certificate.
  
  Each of these certificates are important. For example for many tertiary graduates the only certificate that can tell whether one can speak good English or whether one has adequate knowledge of Mathematics is the Secondary School Certificate.
  
  Similarly the only certificate that can tell whether a tertiary graduate has basic knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, agriculture and the basic geography of West Africa is the Basic Education Certificate.

  Nothing can be done about this case because Mahama has sworn to protect his second heartless, pound-of-flesh wife, Lauretta.
  To commit the Chief Justice to investigate the case as Mahama has done, is to bury the case because the CJ, as an aristocrat, has no sense of how the suffering Ghanaians would like to have their monies well used. Besides, she understands Mahama's signal: stay the case until it dies. After all, the wily Mahama gave no deadline. To his government, those unwarranted expenditures by Lauretta is a small fly. Witness his brother jetting around in a private plane. He talks about being a business man. But we see him as a political opportunist. And the plane is the best means to carry cocaine and gold. Otherwise, what business does the plane serve in Ghana?
  Weep not Ghana.
