JM's silence betrays his connivance of campoare's diabolical intentions.

Any Tunisian or Burkinabee-syle revolution in this country will have to start from the parliament as it happened in Burkina Faso. Our parliamentarians are so hopeless that the Executive can easily manipulate them to deplete our coffers. If someone hadn't blown the whistle about the GNPC's $700mln dubious loan, the booty could have been shared and squandered without our notice. And Parliament should have been at the forefront calling for the CEO to resign.
Obviously, Ghanaians are still not hearing the whole story, and we may never know exactly what the money was going to be used for. We believe GNPC would have hurriedly approached parliament for approval, if the recent massaged justification given by the CEO was really true and the company had nothing to hide.
This whole thing smells like a stinking rot, and the so-called representatives of the people, hired and over paid to examine and authorize spending, must live up to the expectation and do their work properly. They have a duty to make sure that the dubious loan is either cancelled or used for the intended purpose, and not allow the money to go down the drain into the pockets of politicians and their cronies as usual.

Two terms of 5-year each are enough for any one leader and, if possible, three terms of it for any one party to rule a country in Africa. Each leader or a party should be democratically elected for them to have chance to rule a country. Efforts should be made to introduce one constitution for all African countries. In other words, African countries need to unite to bring prosperity to the continent and avoid violent upheavals.

That examply is exactly what John Mahama wants to follow. He won't quit the Presidency because "Honey Sweet" proper, even when things continue to fall apart for Ghanaians for the mess that he's caused. He recently declared that he's looking beyond 2016. In other words; he's not quitting today or tomorrow. I believe Mahama is hopeful the can turn things around with the IMF bailout, after causing such a mess. Ex-Prez. Kuffour did his best by setting records in just 8yrs; the NDC headed by Rawlings ruled for 19 long years without any significant economic achievement. Now they're back again through election fraud, coupled with deafening corruption in gov't and party circles but finds it expedient to tell Ghanaians that he wants to continue sitting on he throne for more years. God forbid; Ghanaians won't allow such dictators in the country to mess with their lives. The suffering is too unbearable! But as has already been said, Africa has leadership crisis. Most of our leaders want to die on the throne. Mahama should open his ears and listen to what Ghanaians are saying; enough is enough!

“African leaders such as Presidents Guelleh in Djibouti, Museveni in Uganda and Biya in Cameroon should no longer expect Western support if people’s power is activated in these countries, especially if those leaders are no longer seen as stable and trusted allies.”
These African leaders you are referring to, either come in as stooges working on behalf of the West or take over power and then lean towards the West....out of fear of being forced out!
The West always have a role to play with the choice of African leaders, to protect their own interests on the continent. Hence, to siphon away on the cheap, the continent's rich natural resources. So, therefore, with an AFROPEAN in place, the West always will have a field day.
The people can rise up and do whatever but, who ever they get rid of....will certainly be replaced by the West. They always support what the people wants and install 'their own' puppet, in the long run.......
The cycle continues and Africans have fallen for it for decades, without learning anything at all.
We need to wake up! Look how the Arab Spring had been hijacked by the West with 'terrorism' as the keyword. They create the chaos and come in with the solution and decide how it has to be worked out.
When are we ever going to learn?????
NKRUMAH NEVER DIES!!!
GOD BLESS GHANA!
AFRICAN FOREVER!
