He is recorded as one of the richest people in Ghana. If the reader is in doubt, you can google the richest people in Ghana and Asiedu Nketiah's name will surface.
How did this idiot, big mouth moron become a millionaire overnight if he had not dipped his hands in the Ghana coffers.
That is why he has to be investigated and prosecuted right away. He is a big thief.
If Rawlings killed General Akuffo, Afrifa, Acheampong, Kotei and the rest for stealing and misappropriating Ghana funds, then the next corrupt General who deserves his day in court and on the execution platform is Asiedu Nketia

How to stop Corruption
1. Corruption Sensitivity Training: Educate the executives(attorney general, the judges, public officials, immigration, police officers)about the short, long term effects and impacts of corruption. Corruption Sensitivity Training should be a mandatory part of interview process, class, testing requirement for all ministers and public sector officials. Make them aware of the consequences and have them sign off on this. If judges, police officers, employees are educated and made to understand the explicit and implicit impacts of corruption and how it affects their own salaries, bonuses etc. Things will change!
2. Enforce the Law: Offenders must face jail time, tickets/fines, sell assets to payback what has been stolen, name and shame offenders in media
3. Put ethical persons in positions of power,
4. yearly revenue audits brief
5.NPP: Narcotic Peddlers Party, NDC: Niggas Deep in Corruption

The Fight against Corruption is about ONE THING; PROSECUTION of those who have engaged in Corrupt Practices.
Neither the CLERGY nor CIVIL SOCIETY has the Mandate to do that. Even if they want to, Government must Lead so they can follow. ONLY the Government can prosecute and the Government has WOEFULLY FAILED in this regard.
These past couple of years alone we have had SADA, GYEEDA, SUBA, NYA,ISOFOTON, NSS, WORLD CUP and many others which did not make the Front Pages. How many of the people involved in these shady deals which have been exposed have been Arrested, Prosecuted or even Reprimanded? Is Government saying these cases lack PROSECUTORIAL MERIT OR Government SIMPLY lacks THE POLITICAL WILL to prosecute?
Kwesi Pratt, some of us have High Regards for you but you must remain Objective in order to continue enjoying that respect. Why don't you use the resources at your disposal as a Journalist, which resources are VITAL in any attempt to fight Corruption, to lead a CRUSADE and the CLERGY will follow.
Even when Martin Amidu risked it all and took Corrupt Government Officials on, what happened? He earned ENEMIES for his reward. You think the CLERGY is made up of FOOLS?
Even those in the CLERGY who have been BOLD enough to speak out, such as Mensa Otabil, Prof Emmanuel Martey, etc., do you see the amount VENOM and INSULTS being hurled at them by people in Government whose job it is to fight Corruption and should be rather thankful to them?
Government INTENTIONALLY or for some STRANGE REASON appoints people with SHADY CHARACTER or with QUESTION MARKS against their names to Positions in Public Service which is a SACRED PUBLIC TRUST and you blame the Clergy for that? People the Appointing Authorities will never put in charge of their Personal Finances for only ONE DAY, are made Custodians of Huge amounts of TAXPAYER money and they SQUANDER BIG TIME and are caught PANTS DOWN with their hand STUCK in the COOKIE JAR and NOTHING happens to them because some of those making the Appointments are in it with them, and you blame the Clergy for that?
Why not blame the Media who can choose to make NOISE everyday till Govt. takes needed Action? or is it because some in the Media are in bed with the CROOKS?.
You don't blame the Attorney General, Police, EOCO, CHRAJ, BNI, etc. who are paid every month to do just that BUT rather the Clergy?
WE WANT ACTION. PLEASE STOP THE TALK.
Let's STOP BLAMING those who CAN ONLY TALK about it and put the problem where it belongs at the Door Step of Government for its FAILURE to PROSECUTE. Then and ONLY then we would have HONESTLY started the Fight against Corruption.

"I had an affair with a woman... almost."
The priest says, "What do you mean 'almost'?"
The man says "Well, we got undressed and rubbed together, but
then I stopped."
The priest replies, "Rubbing together is the same as putting it
in. You're not to go near that woman again. now say five Hail Marys
and put $50 in the poor box."
The man leaves confessional, goes over and says his prayers,
then walks over to the poor box. He pauses for a moment and then
starts to leave.
The priest, who was watching him, quickly runs over to him and
says, "I saw that, you didn't put any money in the poor box!"
The man replies, "Yeah, but I rubbed the $50 on the box, and you
just told me that's the same as putting it in!!"

POLITICS DOES NOT OFFER PERMANENT JOB. It is therefore NOT A PLACE FOR THE POOR. THIS IS THE HARD TRUTH. Politics is for PEOPLE WHO ARE RICH. They have their BUSINESSES ALREADY, THEY HAVE THEIR HOUSES ALREADY, I mean they are WELL TO DO. When the TERM they are supposed to serve is over, THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM LEAVING, BECAUSE THEY HAVE THEIR PERMANENT MEANS OF LIVELIHOOD ALREADY. Politics is NOT for SOLDIERS, CIVIL SERVANTS, TEACHERS and OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN EMPLOYED BY OTHERS. The introduction of THESE GROUP OF PEOPLE into politics is the BEGINNING OF CORRUPTION, TRIBAL DIVISION, HATRED, INSULTS, STEALING and all the other bad things we witness in politics today. WHERE DOES THE POOR MAN GO AFTER HIS TERM OF OFFICE IS OVER? This is where the TROUBLE BIGINGS. HE/SHE has to prepare himself/herself for that. ELECTORAL FRAUD, CORRUPTION, STEALING MONEY THAT DOES NOT BELONG TO THEM, SPEND TIME INSULTING HIS OPPONENT because he is a threat to his livelihood, PAY HIS WAY THROUGH ELECTIONS (that is, giving gifts for votes) and all other bad things that does not help the nation, but serve the interest of that individual. YOU DON'T QUIT YOUR JOB AND GO INTO POLITICS LIKE MOST PEOPLE HAVE DONE. IT IS THE BEGINNING OF ALL THE BAD THINGS WE ARE EXPERIENCING. POLITICS IS NOT A PERMANENT JOB.

Pastors, themselves, are corrupt and so have lost the moral right to help the citizenry do away with corruption. They use premonitory tactics to extort money from their followers to finance their excessive lifestyles through exploitation of their ignorance. Some of these pastors have been doing their best to brake family cohesion by telling there is a spiritual enemy in their midst. They attribute the source of their information to have come from God by their contact with Him. Majority Ghanaians identify themselves as Christians, a Muslim minority and others. It is only intuitive then that in a nation of majority Christians majority our MP's, judges, political party leadership and educated elite sectors in the country are more likely Christians or Muslims. And as dictates of political culture in this nation, our leaders go to their preferred churches on Sundays and other days in between irrespective of the lack of adherence to tenants of moral and certifiable Christian values and Biblical teachings. But they show up in churches and donate money and make offerings and pay their tithes with yes stolen, looted or immorally gained money for which their clergy accept without question. How many of the clergy have boldly and unequivocally told their congregations not to bring offerings of unearned sources to church? How many have pulled the politically connected church members to the side to caution them of God's retribution on them for lives of corruption?
Instead the. Clergy has become mouth pieces for their political parties. Is it not clear enough to anyone in Ghana there are clergymen who become political in their pronouncements when NDC is in office while others stay quite on the sidelines or vice versa when the NPP is in office? We do not have men of God but men pretending to be Godly as they lead their congregations to the practices of hypocritical and amoral living.

Jesus does not need 'front pew contract' in his house because It directly promotes corruption and individualism in his house. Kwesi is right to hammer on it if the churches can't see it.

Between the state and the church who is vested with the coercive power to stamp out corruption. In the USA, when sexual abuse was pervasive, it was the police in the various counties that nipped the practice in the bud and the almighty catholic church was not spared the rod. Kwasi Pratt should really be ashamed for making this ignorant comment. I don't blame him because in a country where all university graduates are useless, he will say this and go Scot free.

THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION IS NOT THE DUTY OF THE CLERGY. THE CLERGY CAN ONLY ADMONISH THE PEOPLE ON CORRUPTION BUT THE LAW AGAINST CORRUPTION AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION RESTS ON THE GOVERNMENT. NO CLERGY TEACHES HIS OR HER CONGREGATION TO GO AND ENGAGE IN CORRUPT PRACTICES. IT IS THE LAW AGAINST CORRUPTION THAT MUST WORK. IF YOU ARE A GOV'T AND YOU SHIELD YOUR PEOPLE WHO ENGAGE IN CORRUPT PRACTICES, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT. UNCLE KWASI KEEP QUIET.

I have said several times on this forum that Ghanaians need a Revolution in the mind(view things/ look at things). As at now the important thing is to have money. How the person got it is invariably none of the equation. Meanwhile, the Osofo expect his/her donations or collection enough to keep him out of financial distress, to be happy to preach or spread the gospel well. Those days Osofo was in fasting is not applicable. Again,Ghana is predominantly a Christian Country but Kwesi, are you aware that most people go to Church not for the love of God,but like a Club.So how much could Osofo do;however hard he/she tried to instill the gospel, know that "Corruption has been with us since Adam" unquote.
A situation where authorities who are supposed to do their work rather expect instructions from the President is untenable and completely out of place.
Efficient Institutions do not look up to the President in Corruption Cases. After all what is the reason and essence of division of labour ! Our institutions should work.Anyway
