These male chauvinists who have found their way to parliament, the legislative arm of government should back off, come to terms with today's realities and stop living in the past. Wherever they're from they must be told without ambiguity that they're trespassing our laws and undermining the work of parliament. First of all, there's a separation of Church (organized religion) and state and the religious zealots must choose to be part of the larger state or form their own fundamentalist state and leave us alone. There's no place in civilized society for any form of discrimination, whether it's against men or women, rich or poor, tribe or clan. We discriminate against our own and think it's alright because we call it culture or religion and cry foul when other races discriminate against our race. What double standards! Foul is never fair and fair is never foul.
We should not ever tolerate extremism in any form, religious or customary that's discriminatory in any part of ghanaian society. When we give them an inch today they'll take a mile tomorrow.

Now the basic question to this humongous fool is, has he ever ever seen his people, Daboye people ever do what his pressing for to any woman before? I don't think so because Daboye is part of Gonja and I'be lived amongst them in Damango. They have the most democratic form of tribal government in Ghana and they value their women. Why won't this fool build on that instead of trying to introduce a primitive Iranian or Taliban policies on us.

Abolish marriage period. It is not necessary in today's world. Love does not exist anymore in marriages. It has given way to material possessions, especially with Africans in the diaspora.
