We are under economic shackles all because of NDC incompetent and corrupt government. We had eight years of NPP government and times were certainly better for us than we have found ourselves in under the six years of GYEEDA,SUBAH,SADA,NSS and least of all Woyome stealling from us a whopping fifty one million.
The NDC and its head corruptible Mahama must give way to the NPP.
At least if I am poor but the sacrifice is giving all children in Ghana some free education then my sacrifice is worth it.
We have nothing to call home and tell mama about in the sad state of Ghana economy. Give us a break Mr.Mahama and your incompetent NDC.

Wonders will never end! Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei talking about corruption? Has he forgotten about his rape of Ghana Oil Palm Development Company?
It is sad that criminals like Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei can now be making such nosies just because they are sure many Ghanaians are not aware of the harm they personally did to Ghana. Besides Kufuor, Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei has been the worst corrupt official so far. In fact, as compared to Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei Woyome is a saint.

Ask him again and again and again la. This New Patriotic Party's MP for Old Tafo, Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei, has been playing politics with everything afore elected on behalf of his constituency to our legislative chamber and he is not alone on that ticket since there are much more where he come from. In fact, why don't the parliament take upon themselves and rip the new so-called Chinese refurbishment off the house and bring back the old Kpablo furnitures into the chamber instead to appease the yahoos among them?

2) Kufuor invented Zoom Lion as a scheme to syphon funds from govt coffers. This has now been further corrupted to create all kinds of schemes like "Youth in this", "Youth in that" etc,
3) All the Judgement Debts originated under Kufuor, including Woyome. Please don't mention the Drillship.
4) Should I add more?

Oh what kind of review is this - contract sum of 8.7 m reviewed to 21.9 m - a percentage of almost 300% within a year. This is huge and needs to be investigated to find out who did the review. Other issues to be addressed should be:
1. Were there other quotations?
2. If yes what are the figures presented?
3. Who were the awarding committee?
4. Was the award discussed in Parliament?
5. The responses from local manufacturers on file if they were even consulted?
This practice is just unacceptable coming from our law makers and Dr Akoto Osei is perfectly right. This has to be investigated and some punishment meted out - if even there are no malpractices but for buying chairs for the State from outside.
Thank you.

That is what I woefully (mis)understood as the reason given for the contract having been awarded to the Chinese contractor.
It is gradually surfacing, that the contract was awarded in 2013.
Is it really true, that any Ghanaian contractor was invited to bid?
Can it be true, for GH¢8,7 million to soar to nearly GH¢22 million within one year, without knowledge, and approval of the Customer, (in this case, Parliament of Ghana)?
Why are some of our Politicians bent on making it impossible for us to trust our own representatives: the people we wholeheartedly used our Thumbs to elect?

This is an increase of 39.4075%, not the 152% looking at the unadjusted Cedis implies. Still, this is over $1.6 million in unexplained costs for a project that is to replace a Parliamentary infrastructure that was replaced just a few years ago. MPs say they never saw the original contract? But they voted for it anyway? Surely they were all getting their own cut of the pie.

If the purchase of Chinese chairs for parliament is repulsive, find out who donated the AU headquarters to the entire continent for which our leaders are most grateful. Our leaders , africans are engaged in a Bull Dance. The endgame is suicidal. They pray to Amen, the african Deity that one cannot see and touch whose day of devotion is Memenda in Akan, the Deity Ama for the Dogon in Mali and commit the worst violence against one another or each other. The culprit s and victims at the apex of these violence are the Mobutus, Abachas and at the bottom and in between are the police, public servants and those entrusted with public and community property. The truth is one cannot be saved by proxy. There is no second hand salvation. When did we lose our sense of self. Yes black, black sheep have you any wool, yes sir, yes sir there bags full. Abduct children in the name of religion and you think it's ok. Maat is truth, fairness, righteousness and justice. The African must recapture, re-member his,her past to be made (w)holy again.
