I think this part of your submission is rather too strong and assigns to Mahama more than his fair share of what has been a Systemic Problem in Governance not only in Ghana but in most parts of Africa and the Third World.

You see, in the past, people were more careful not to get caught. But now it is FREE FOR ALL with NONE to STOP it and NONE to CARE.

There is a Group within the NDC whose only MISSION in Government is to STEAL, STEAL and STEAL. They steal not ONLY because they are THIEVES but because they can GET AWAY with it.

These thieves have been at it since Rawlings' time. Their MODUS is to always try to keep the few with MORAL COURAGE out of Government and out of their way by INVENTING and SPREADING all manner of FALSEHOOD against them in order to prosecute their Agenda. They are very well 'educated' and graduated from some of the world's best Universities including Harvard, Columbia, etc.

But just as the COW uses the water it drinks to make milk to feed its young and mankind but the snake drinks the same water to make poison to kill, so they use their talent and education to steal and inflict pain and have a Nation of Men and Women, Young and Old, 27 million strong live like PIGS in their own country.

They are in our midst. They see, on a daily basis, the SQUALOR and FILTH and HOPELESSNESS and SELF-PITY that characterize many a Ghanaian but they DON'T GIVE A DAMN and STEAL they must because they have made a COVENANT with the DEVIL.

Because they steal, they have more money than they need with enough to spare and they FUND the Politicians and decide who should be in or our of Government.

But RAWLINGS stood up to them and insisted on maintaining certain people they wanted out. They use all manner of schemes that only those appointees with the EXPERIENCE and FORTITUDE can identify and confront. And these are the very people they keep out of Government. They prefer the young and inexperienced who would do anything and be silent in order to keep their position because they have nothing to fall back on and lack the requisites to deal with such canker.

Because they know where Rawlings stands on the issue of Corruption, any one perceived to be close to him MUST be kept out. This was the HEART and MATTER of Rawlings' WOES with Atta Mills. This was the reason why they persuaded Atta Mills to keep SPIO and a few others out of Govt.

Atta Mills obliged and it has been extended to Mahama who has swallowed their bait HOOK, LINE and SINKER.

It is going to take more than a mere MORTAL, living or yet to be born, to stop them. In fact, it is going to require God's intervention, just as he did for the JEWS in the time of MOSES, to free Ghanaians from their shackles. Till then, let's continue praying.
