This explains why most northerners continue to look forward to freebies from the central government. Simply put, it perpetuates laziness and life-long dependency. For all you know, northerners in Ghana are better off than their siblings in Burkina Faso in terms of resource endowment but they are worse off because of sheer laziness.

Good and most sensible programme for the NPA to initiate and promote the safety use of LPG.Firstly, may take this oportunity to thank Dr.Ampomah to provide and make the awareness of the percentage burns and fatality of the LPG in the country. My thanks go to all the energy rated organisations and the minister of energy providers for their contributions and advice and education. Now I am proud to read sesible articles from Ghanaians without politicalscore.

very gud education on the use , storage, transport of LPG products
however, how many people were even lucky to get safety information on the NPA seminar or public awareness.
manufacturers information as well as competent teams needs to send around into the community, churches, to throw more light on the dangers the misuse of LPG cld cause .
my little advice is please , dont use any ignition around LPG especially, if it is made of propane, or acetylene.
always make sure cylinders are stored upright and not stored like putting it in a car on a sideways.check there is no leaking , and try and keep it in a well ventilated place , avoid ,direct sun and high pressure, and temperature areas, such as basement.but more important , keep children away from lpg and matches or lighters .thank u

the best safety advice is to keep lpg cylinders outside and not inside homes. This comes the next question about theft.since people will steal anything in Ghana, its not likely, anybody wil take this safety advice seriously
