  Here they go again,every single day they have something to demand to continue with their strike which makes them to spend more time on strike than in the facilities assigned to them making them to set GUINNESS BOOK of record as the only organization that has spent more days on strike than in the facilities they are supposed to be working at.
  This is no news,we know they just took a short break from their workplace which is STRIKE COPORATION ,they will have to get back to do what they know better and what they have been trained to do 'strike'.
  May God help them to continue taking tax payers money for no work done.

Soon they will complain that nigerian and cuban doctors have taken over ghier work. Why accept a job when no conditions of service is attached, write one and discuss it with your employer and let the public know what you are asking for, just as you tell us abt the strike. The extra fees and gifts you take from patients after using govt equipment and facilities shd be enough reward for you??

  We are really fed-up with your constant agitations as if you are the only people working in Ghana. Just go ahead and resign but remember to vacate your government bungalows because we want the place for the incoming Cuban doctors that are going to replace you.
  
  You think because you are doctors if you go abroad you can get work. There are qualified doctors in North America who are driving taxis because they cannot find work. In your case, you people will even find it tougher because most of you were not trained abroad.

  Ghana will wake up, and demand what is ours. Mahama must not be allowed to Lord it over us. The power belongs to the people. That is true democracy when power belongs to the people.

  Are readers and or the Ghanaian public to believe that the last decade (which puts us back around 2004) the AMA and workers of the Ministry of Health have not worked under a certifiable terms of employment? If so what was their understanding of work conditions and terms and why would they wait to get on picket lines this year and or at this time? Would another year or decade kill workers?
  
  The display of intellectual dishonesty by the GMA and their spokespersons irrespective of who they put forward begs the question who is their puppet master? Why would members of Ghana educated elite class work for over a decade not knowing their head from the ground and wake up this year knowing it is time to get on a picket line? Get real GMA and stop displaying symptoms that your heads are full of ivory with no brains.
  
  A good leadership of the GMA would know that this is the worse time for them to embark on a strike and or benefit/salary negotiations. Why not wait till all the other disputes are resolved and then choose another year for your dispute with government. Choose 2015 when it is almost time for elections and see how the NPP and NDC offer you anything you ask because of their desire to buy your votes?

  They have completely lost public sympathy but are not learning any lesson from it. The citizenry are gradually losing respect for them and they are still being dumb. The other time it was their condition of service, else they resign in June 2015. Now it is strike. They are still not aware government would prefer they leave the field for committed Cuban doctors who are also well trained in tropical medicine to assume positions with 100% dedication. After all, how many are they in the country to create an impact?
  They should make the mistake of resigning or striking and see if their services would be needed anywhere. Not even Togo would need them. May be Burkina Faso, where they would receive half their pay in Ghana.
  These doctors are completely useless abroad, the reason they raise their shoulders any how only in Ghana.
  Here in the USA, THEY WOULD BE REQUIRED TO PASS SERIES OF EXAMS BEFORE THEY ARE EVEN CONSIDERED FOR RESIDENCIES FOR ANOTHER 3 OR 4 YEARS, THEN PASS OTHER EXAMS TO BE LINSENCED TO PRACTICE. THEY OFTEN DO NOT MAKE IT AND BECOME TAXI DRIVERS AND PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS WHO ARE PAID OFTEN ABOUT LESS THAN $20 or $25 an hour with student loans to pay. The same amount paid some hotel room cleaners, Forklift drivers and security guards.
  Their actions are becoming too irritating and too much for once respected Ghanaian doctors. Why allow politicians to use you and destroy your respect?
